    Hi again,

I'm really struggling to keep updating as i'm just so busy!! I didn't manage to do a table top sale today, but did some baking and cooking to get in front with meals for next week. I've joined the grocery challenge again for March and will hopefully manage to stay in budget this time!.

I've also transferred the rest of my HSBC cc balance to MBNA @ 0.9% as they increased my credit limit, so that was an unexpected bonus:D Just need to try and pay off as much as poss before the deal ends in Oct.

DD3 has announced that she has put her name down for 2 summer camps with cadets so that'll cost £140 for both but ex has said he'll pay half. I wonder if I'll save enough £2 coins to pay for those:p

DD1 has paid me again this month £60 but I went out with her this weekend to her friends party and managed to spend a good chunk of it:rolleyes: Still it's the first time I've been out since I can't remember when so I don't feel too bad as it's not money from my budget. I'll check how much is left and will put at least some of it towards the cc debt. It's also no council tax and no water this month so will be paying half of that off debt too and saving other half.

I haven't ordered my clubcard deal tokens yet so not booked holiday. It's on my list for this week - must get more organised!!

I think I should leave it there as I feel like I'm babbling now, lol. I'll try harder to update more often - it keeps me on track.

    See you soon, x

    Here again,

I've paid £50 off cc today (half of council tax/water that I don't have to pay this month) and got some bargains at Mr Ts - bread rolls and hot x buns whoopsed to 10p each this eve. And made a 'profit' on buying nappies and baby things for DD as got 1300 clubcard points from baby club vouchers, worth £52 in deals on a £20ish spend:j and DD will be paying me back £10 for nappies too.

Also got £10 discount voucher for Vertbaudet and bought a set of 3 little suitcases that cost £10 - SO FREE:j to put away for my neice for either birthday or Xmas, I did have to pay postage but still a bargain I thought.

    Hi again,

Thanks to everyone for your support it really does mean a lot.
Not much more to update today - got £40 back that I lent to DS1 so have another £20 for cc and £20 for savings. I must get it paid in though otherwise I'm likely to spend it, lol!

I bought some seed potatoes this week too. I'm gonna have a go at growing them in pots as I have a tiny yard. I have a chimney pot and thought that make be good for growing potatoes in as it's quite tall. Has anyone got any views on that? Would it work?

Thanks Tustastic for the suggestion about entering comps to win an x-box. I did have a phase of entering comps for a while but didn't really win anything significant (a pair of sparkly tights, a fleece jacket, an umbrella and a pair of tickets to Ideal Home exhibition to be precise, :rotfl: ) but might just focus my efforts on prizes I'd really like!

I'll let you know how I get on.

I've just checked my bank balance (I do this a bit obsessively every morning, lol) and seen that my HSBC cc have taken out a DD of over £120 even tho I've paid it off in full:mad: so I now have a credit balance! This means i've had to put the money I was gonna save into HSBC bank account otherwise I'll exceed my overdraft limit - still have to put in another £60 tho to cover payments that are due and have no cash left

DD2 gives me £35 per week so i'll have to put that in over next 2 weeks and hope payments don't come out in meantime - need to check when they are due, so annoyed:mad:

as its a direct cedit your be covered under the dd guarentee, first make sure you contact the HSBC cc and point our their error, but as well, even though the cc is paid off, as its a direct debit,it auto goes out, so write a letter to the branch (my fail safe tip - dont post it, hand it over in the branch, but get a signature for it - that way if they deny it -you have proof), andone to the cc side of the business cancelling the debit. Also point out to the cc that you are liable for charges due to them taking the money if they dont refund in 7 days your contact the financial obsbunmen etc. (Works a treat)

Thanks for that I will give it a go.

If not I will use the card to pay for my petrol next month and put my petrol money into savings account instead - just hope I don't exceed my overdraft in the meantime, then I will be annoyed!!

Well I'm off to check my cupbaords before I write my shopping list for this week. I'm doing quite well with the grocery challenge on OS board still. I'll be unnaturally happy if I manage to stay within budget, lol.
