Ive had a nightmare with them in a different way. Ordered phone on line on a Sunday night, arrived on the Tuesday, charged it up and started using it. I then noticed the number in the phone was different to the paperwork so I phoned them on the Wednesday and queried it. I was told to switch the phone off for 24 hours and everything would be ok. Come Thursday still showing the other number and phoned them again. This time I was told that I needed a new simcard as the one I was using was running up someone elses bill. They offered two weeks free line rental for the inconvenience and said that the sim had been posted that day and would be with me by Saturday. Saturday the incorrect sim they sent me was disconnected (didnt take them long....only three days!) but my sim had not arrived. On Sunday I emailed there Customer Services who said I had to phone them. I phoned on the Monday and a woman promised to call me back within 30 minutes.....after two hours I phoned back and was told the computers were down and so I requested they called me back. On Tuesday a nice man called Richard called me at work, I started off with "dont tell me no more lies, tell me the truth whatever the consequences", my sim was only sent out on that day. Inbetween phone calls they blamed Singlepoint who bill me for sending the wrong simcard, after calling them they informed me that they are not responsible for simcards and that it was dialaphone.
I now do actually have my simcard......after spending four hours of running my phone bill up......the two weeks free phone rental has not appeared on my bill and 10 days ago I sent a letter to there Customer Relations (as advised by Richard who said I should be compensated) and "oh Im so surprised that I havent received an answer yet"!
Singlepoint are great who deal with the billing but personally dialaphone havent got a clue.0 -
The ol' man got his phone through dialaphone and sent off the slips for the cashback, received a text message telling him when to expect it - and was paid into our bank account exactly on time, both times. I previously used Dialaphone, never had any probs at all with getting my cashbacks. I do hope they're not going the same way as Mobile Republic!!0

Both wife and I have dialaphone mobiles and we both have cashback type contracts and they have always paid up.
BUT..... my phone(Nokia 6600) ceased to work on thursday evening, friday phoned them, they said no problem we will send you out an envelope to post to have it repaired/ replaced. They said it will be there tomorrow if not then monday but guess what no envelope.
I am about to ring them and will update when I know more.
Was on hold till 8.10pm then noticed when decided to look at website that customer service shuts at 8 >:(
AND it was a national rate number.
Cheeky Monkeys making money out of you when they aren't even there!!!!0 -
Why didn't you dial them on 0800 0928 244 and ask to be put through?...and then the window licker said to me...0

Have contacted Dialaphone twice. Find them pushy on the phone, only interested if you are definately buying a phone there and then, not interested in enquiries.
Also, all of the cashback deal currently advertised are in the form of airtime credits. Since the last one is in month 12 you would have to stay with them into a secodn year to recoup the credit on your account. Have been put off and will stick to OSPS or e2save.0
