Miomap is pretty good. You can find help on loading it on on the HUKD website. I am using Miomap on this and find it very slick.

    What's better tomtom or miomap?

Mine took 4 hours from cold via USB. Others have reported very slow - may depend on the power of your computer's PSU perhaps? Often shop-bought computers have a very small PSU, so not much power to spare for charging via USB.

I'd like to know which maps are the latest too, tomtom or mio.

    Thanks Garetha, found it.
  • Finally took the plunge and ordered one of these a couple of days ago after reading this thread. Not sure whether to go through the hassle of getting miomaps or tomtom on it yet. Can anyone who has used this unit for a while say whether they think the software it comes with is decent enough to warrant not bothering with installing anything different on it?

I tried miomap out on my Navigo but prefer Turbodog 5. Also found using the bike routes instead of the car options interesting as you miss out most of the busy routes and saved 7 miles on a 25 mile journey. It will pay for itself in no time.
