I did once say that I will get a sat nav when they are down to £50. It's getting close, lol!
    .....

  • Can you change the voice on this unit? My sister really wants a yoda voice sat nav!
  • I have tried to install the upgrade but when I have done this the navigation options won't load. Any ideas anyone ??? I have reloaded the original files from the disk to get it working again.
  • nice looking chick on the ebuyer product video!!! Does anyone here know how I can update the navigon software on a fujitsu siemens pocket loox n100 device? Can it run tomtom software at all? Please help me find any good links as I have had very little luck (fujitsu site is rubbish)!
Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

    Primum non noce!
  • I keep looking at this Navigo, and notice that the stock level is hardly changing ,atm it is at 356 in stock, the other day I noticed it was 358.

Maybe they are coming in at the same rate they are going out.

Thre's a thread about it Here on AVForums. They seem very keen on it and give links to traffic cameras etc. It's worth a look if you're interested.

Amazon are selling the charger (that davetrousers recommended) for 1p (but £6 delivery charge). It's a lot better than the £24.99 on other sites.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/POWER-INVERTER-AC-240V-12V/dp/B000S0XNME/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_3#moreAboutThisProduct

If you look at the reviews for this on Amazon, it does appear to have ruined at least one Satnav device. Has anybody actually used it with this one I wonder.

I've just got this, and I'm bloody tempted to send it back. I tried several routes and so far it tried to direct me down a one way street, told me to go in completely the wrong direction and so forth. And that's even with the software update. I know you can slap TomTom and MipMap or whatever on it, but I don't feel like putting dodgy software on it - I'd sooner buy an actual TomTom.

Those of you who have installed tomtom 6 on this.

How reliable is it? Does it keep cut out much?
I bought three in the end for my 'now driving' kids - all installed with TomTom (including multiple maps on my son's as he travels abroad). Been working faultlessly for 3 days. A total bargain.

Just got one and charging up quickly enough via USB.

The UK maps, new version, are hopelessly out of date though.
They moved the A1 where it crosses the M62 about three years ago, but the maps still show the old position.

Anybody any idea which software - tomtom or whoever - has the latest maps?
