Satnav for £59.99

Good to see Ebuyer updating the download from yesterday and including the Map folder. Seriously tempted now but a little suprised the stock level is still at 356. Thought it may have been more popular than this, maybe people are waiting for another price drop.

sounds like a valid reason to me, having said that the current price is also good value for money.0 -
It's a shame Google Checkout aren't doing the £10 off deal any more!
They have another sat nav reduced to £64.99 too, link. No user reviews though.....0 -
Is charging this unit from an ipod mains usb charger an option?
The answer is yes to my question0 -
We bought the unit from EBuyer because, as my husband admits, he'd get lost if I wasn't in the car (hhhmmmmm!). He's impressed with clear spoken instructions and map, distance calculator etc, and I think it's a great little unit for the money (though I have nothing to compare it with).
We have to charge it through the PC or cigarette lighter and it takes quite some time. We felt the box had been opened - as if someone else had bought and returned it - there was no earpiece and when I called the 0871 number to ask if one could be sent to me I was promised a response by email, by Monday, which hasn't happened. It's difficult to send an email to Ebuyer - I think they prefer making money on their 0871 number.
We've found that the unit doesn't take the short-cuts you've found out over the years, but it does get you there even if it follows busy main roads (grrrr).
I downloaded the newest software from the Ebuyer received today http://www.team-ebuyer.com/NAVIGO/NAVIGO_Upgrade.zip and notice that Glasgow City Centre has no cinemas, concert halls, cemeteries or doctors etc etc etc. I don't know if it was like that when I received the unit, or has something do with the new software so I wondered if anyone has this unit, could they check Glasgow City Centre and post a reply as to whether Glasgow really has cinemas etc.0 -
You can always get something like this if you want to charge it from the mains link
And you could use it for other things as well.
You could probably get it cheaper than this if you shop around though......0 -
Now that is a good idea davetrousers - I didn't know such a plug existed. Must now tell hubby. Many thanks.0

Wow what an interesting plug :rotfl:
I too had no idea that they existed!:p0 -
Amazon are selling the charger (that davetrousers recommended) for 1p (but £6 delivery charge). It's a lot better than the £24.99 on other sites.
