    They are different...

Those you mentioned are cheap ones that break easily & the lids come off. I know as I had one of those & it lasted only a week.

Nite glowrings are far superior in construction & brighter too.

That's why those you mention are cheaper. :-/ (cheap is not always good)

The hottest gadget of 2008? Bit early to be saying that, and I had one of those 8 years ago... Christ, I feel old. :(

They look identical though and whoever is selling them on ebay is using the same stock photo :D

Cheap is always better if it is the same item. Yes there are some other designs out there at about half the price, but there are also identical items, pages and pages of them on google, also at vastly cheaper prices than that ebay auction.

Save your money, buy direct instead of paying a mark up on ebay :T

You'd have PETA on your back now though. Can barely do anything involving tying an animal up with string without some manky vegan type complaining. :D

I originally had a traser tritium keyring about 5 years ago I loved it, technology has moved on now & these new ones are brighter.

Referring to availability. Nite the manufacturers have none in stock at the mo, so they are not easy to get the OP is right. At 50p or so difference with delivery I doubt I'd go bankrupt.
