Paypal - Limited Account - Recorded item delivered but not signed for

Hi,

I got my account limited last Friday and was asked to do a few tasks photo id, address, bank etc. And one of them was get my last 3 items tracked.

They were all sent on Monday as some of them ended Friday day and my account got limited on Friday night. The SD item arrived Tuesday and RM website confirms this. The other 2 which were sent recorded one is showing its at the delivery office and the other showing nothing.

So i emailed the 2 buyers and the one which is at the delivery office said she will pick it up either Friday or Saturday (her days off). The other one and told me it was delivered on Tuesday. I phoned royal mail and they also state that it's not tracked yet and when i said about it already being delivered they said it could be an error on the system or someone had not imputted it on the system.

I phoned Paypal to try and get my account back up as these are the only things holding it back and they said they will look into it and get back to me. I asked why dont they email the buyer and ask him if he has got it and was told they cannot do that as anyone can have access to their emails.

They have £500 of mine locked up and not happy one bit. As i only had 7 days to confirm everything and it took 6 days for my bank depoists to arrive.

Anyone got any advice on what i can do?

Nothing you can do, your dealing with a faceless inept organisation, best thing to is send info, unlock account, transfer money out of the account and close it, and never use paypal again.

I sent the info but i know the item has been delivered as the buyer has told me, but RM have said they cannot track it atm.

Unfortunately this is a royal mail problem not a paypal problem. Recorded delivery seems to have some problems at the moment, there are threads after threads about how recorded delivery items don't show as delivered online when they have actually arrived.

paypal have got back to me saying they cannot reopen my account as one of the items is not showing as delivered.

I know its delivered what can i do about this?

I just spoke to the buyer and he has confirm that he did not sign for it as the postman did not ask him too.

Unfortunately then you are going to find it difficult to resolve this. The Royal mail will not backdate the signature so although they may decide it has been delivered they will never show it as tracked online. Without that assistance from Royal mail paypal will decide it is undelivred, as that is what the tracking says.

I really don't know what is going wrong with recorded at the moment, for 70p I expect a signature, that is all I am paying extra for and it doesn't seem to much to ask does it

I rarely use recorded although sometimes my buyers will ask me to do so (which I dread) , I find my own signed for rate runs at only about 75%, so basically 1 in every 4 items i send recorded is never signed for. I have made complaints to post watch who really aren't bothered as thay say if item has been delivered what is the problem?

And the person has left me feedback saying great service fast delivery etc. But paypal wont care about this and lock my account for 180 days now.

I don't see what paypals problem is here. They have asked you to have your last 3 items sent by a trackable method and you have done so, I assume you have the recorded delivery slips to prove it.

The fact that one items hasn't been delivered is irrelavent, it was sent by a trackable method as per their request.
