  • im in the exact same postion, i phone RM and all they tell me is that they dont have any proof of delivery and thats that, full in a claim form blah blah

its for 2 items sent on the same day as well , so paypal are probably thinking that im making it up! Both buyers have told me the items were delivered though... what am i suppose to do, i have emailed the buyers but they dont appear to be responding now! The buyers have not complained, paypal just seem to be looking for a reason to hold my money
  • The problem is royal mail are neglecting their duty to obtain a signature. I think a class action suit should be brought against them for willfully neglecting their responsibility to obtain a signature and we should all claim back the 70ps *100million that are being paid to them.
Postwatch are also a big waste of space.

Unfortunately then you are going to find it difficult to resolve this. The Royal mail will not backdate the signature so although they may decide it has been delivered they will never show it as tracked online. Without that assistance from Royal mail paypal will decide it is undelivred, as that is what the tracking says.

I really don't know what is going wrong with recorded at the moment, for 70p I expect a signature, that is all I am paying extra for and it doesn't seem to much to ask does it

I rarely use recorded although sometimes my buyers will ask me to do so (which I dread) , I find my own signed for rate runs at only about 75%, so basically 1 in every 4 items i send recorded is never signed for. I have made complaints to post watch who really aren't bothered as thay say if item has been delivered what is the problem?
