You really think - a few months - and all will be forgotten. :rotfl:

Not forgotten, but i'll give it to the end of the year and the worst will be over.

Renters hoping to cash in on a cheap property as a result of the credit crunch, will be disappointed.

Remember, you heard it hear first folks!

Please tell us where you get your info. Did you read it, are you an economist or did you just predict it to suit your own opinion. ?????

You're wavering - first a few months - now it's the end of the year!

Those who can rent, and sit it out will reap the benefits in 12 months time.

Here's a list of every postcode area where a house price fall was recorded:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/04/12/nhouse212.xml

Where I grew up it isn't down yet
Where I sold last year isn't down yet

Where I live now it is down 2.2%

But this is just the first set of results.... let's see 3 months down the line.

It takes awhile as there are sales in the pipeline, people who will buy whatever happens and people who are just completely unaware.

Where do you get yours? I have not seen any evidence of 40% drops, that most people on this forum like to predict.

high interest rates don't matter if the houses were a third of the price.

My point exactly NOBODY knows 100% when the credit crunch will be over.
So again how do you know???.
Also NOBODY can predict the the amount house prices are going to rise or drop.
All I am saying is read about the subject because you clearly don't understand whats happening.

P.S. I couldn't wouldn't predict how much house prices will fall, however 40% sounds good to me.:rotfl:
