In fact, the abuse is largely from the bulls these days.

Well said and agree 100%. Good post.

    I'm neither bull nor bear

I just examine the existing evidence and make my own conclusions, I have no preconceptions or dogmatic bias.
    It's a health benefit ...
  • I think the worst will be over by the end of the year too!! Why is that so hard to swallow? I don't believe we will see a crash. Also the media always big everything up, if a report comes out saying we will see some rain this summer the media will turn it into "Britain prepares for worst floods to hit in over 50 years!! Result scaring everyone into a frenzy. Thing is media move on quick and we are already bored of hearing about the credit crunch it will fade into insignificance by Jan!! My friends that are FTB's are seeing this as their oppertunity to grab a bargin and prices are actually still rising in London aren't they?? I'm not saying we won't see a drop I'm just saying all these reports of 30% and 50% reduction in house prices makes me laugh.:rotfl:
  • PS:- just been reading back and wanted to say leave poor Dan alone!!

This thread is definately against anyone saying anything to do with us not having a bigstyle 1990's style crash!!!

If you people were really clever you would of brough lots and lots of houses pre 2000 and sold them last year - nobody knows what is going to happen.

I don't have a problem with people's opinions on HPCs, but what gets to me is the glee that some people have at the thought of a big crash.

God that rolling smiley icon on this site is irritating.

I'm sorry if youre bored of the credit crunch, maybe if you actually understood what it was you'd be better informed about whats likely to happen over the next couple of years. This is about much more than house prices and if you think credit is going to continue supporting HPI then, oh sod it :rotfl:
