    The important (150?) words that children are expected to know (read and spell) by the time they complete Key Stage 1 (ie end of Year 2, assessments typically in May) of the National Curriculum are below. They are from the Govt Standards website so break it down by year. Thus this is an average, some children will know all of them by sight at the end of their Reception Year for instance. HTH.
