Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked before. But the last couple of times I finally managed to find a working code, it got accepted and when I put my payment details in, I got a message saying there is a problem because I've entered an invalid voucher. Is anyone else getting this, are they now only allowing the person the voucher was sent to to use it? I wouldn't mind but in 3 years I have never ever had a money off voucher sent to me!?!:(0

Nearly tried every TESCO code and finally got

I received a code from Tesco's a few days ago - for £20 off my next shop with them (groceries).
Typically, i received it AFTER i placed my last order on Friday so naturally was going to use the code for this weekend.......UNTIL i got this email today:-
Dear XXXX,
We recently sent you an email with an eCoupon offering you money off your next Tesco grocery shop. Unfortunately due to a system issue the eCoupon code was sent to you in error and has now been cancelled.
By way of an apology, please accept a new eCoupon to use on your next
grocery shop, entitling you to half price delivery. To use your eCoupon, simply sign-in and shop at Tesco.com groceries and enter eCoupon code XXHKXM.
We would like to sincerely apologise for this error and assure you that every effort will be made to ensure this does not happen again.
Kind regards
Tesco Customer Service
I'm fuming! Can they do this?
And what a cheek that they think they can compensate me with a measly half price delivery code!
I thought, once they sent you a code/voucher etc, they would have to honour it.0 -

after I complained to tesco that my husbands account did not get the interest from them in the way of priority slots at Christmas and the extra 1000 points if you order 3 times before the end of Feb that I di(no the codes don't work for anyone else !) they sent him a £7.50 off £75 code as they said he had not shopped for a while, so if you are fed up with no codes it can be worth not shopping as they have done this with me before to get me back!.....(code also only worked once so think they are really getting wise to web sites that give out codes
....)

I had a discount code of £40. I placed an order for £51. When the order came it totalled £39.20 because 4 items totalling £10+ were "unavailable". These were items that could easily have been substituted. Customer services have said the store will phone me. Still waiting!0

Same happened to me - I had a voucher for 750pts of £50 spend the quarterly mailing. Tried to use it but wouldn't work. I rang CS - then mysteriously got an email 2 hours later (generic one) stating it was in error and they would credit me with 100pts.
I didn't make a fuss as I realised the card I used for shopping was a different one to the on-line one and thought I might get pulled up for it.
Frustrating thoughNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Tesco's are being particularly tight at present.
I shop there, have one of their Credit Cards, send them my old printer cartridges and generally play their game. My Xmas grocery order was well over 200 quid..... Never get lavished with codes though. Recently I have really been scratching round for them.
Don't know about everyone else but it makes me spit when I spend over £125 quid (as I have tonight) and can't even cover the cost of delivery!
I would switch to Asda but I can't stand the website.0
