    thanks
  • Hello, this is my first post so dont know whether I'm in the right place so please be kind. Can anyone tell me, if I use the £5 off £50 grocery code and on delivery, tesco dont have one of my items taking my basket to below £50, do I then have to pay the £5 discount back to the driver. Also, do they always honour any mistakes ie website said 3 for £2.00 on my order but is actually 3 for 2 in-store. Sorry if this has already been asked before, i did look first, just dont know whether in the right place. Thanks bobbie.

no you wont have to pay the £5 back
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • You dont actually pay until they have selected all your items for you in store - so if some are out of stock and you don't accept any substitutes offered and your total bill (ex delivery) is below £50, then the £5 discount will not apply. Check the invoice given by the driver.

Just got this one, it worked on my account:
Groceries - Save £9 on a spend of £90 or more
    Discount Code: XX-3FFJ
    Expiration: Jan. 4, 2009

They really do seem to be cracking down on these now. The last two weeks I rang them up before I checked out and they advised me that they would refund the code amount after it had been delivered. The first time was fine but the next time I rang the lady said the code had expired so she could not refund me even though I had been told other wise by another advisor. To call her bluff I told her in thatcase could she arrange for the driver to collect my shopping and she knocked the £10 off. Couldn't help but feel pleased with myself :-)
Today I rang again before check out and spoke to two different advisors and both said they couldn't do nothing as the codes are not meant for me :-(

  • Hello & Happy New Year to all,

I have just had a quote from Mr T for home insurance and see that I can pay the premium by clubcard tokens. It is not clear if this is at the face value shown on the tokens or if it is at face value x 4 as is normal for deals.

Does anyone have experience of which way round it is?

My thought is that it is only at face value - due to it being spent in Tescos effectively - which is not so good, 4 x value would be very nice. Fingers crossed.

    Thanks in advance.

    Martin.

It looks like it applies to vouchers and not deals tokens, nice thought though
