That first link was not the one i directed you to. Yes the second one is correct.
Are we stillon track? I have manage to reduce the temp from 55 to 40.
Is it dodgyfor me to give my mobile number on this forum? Would be far quicker via watsapp??0 -

Happy to speak to you tmrw once I've had a chance to read the manual as this is a diff manual to what I was reading earlier. Unfortunetly because you didn't provide the model number earlier the Google search provided a generic result and as such even though I got a manual as per your instruction it wasn't the right one.
I will need some time to look into it but I am off to bed now.
Happy for you to send me your number in a pm if that helps. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
Brilliant and thanks for your help sir.
I apologise for leading you astray.
Will forward my number to you in PM.
Thanks again0 -
The forum will not let me reply to your PM. As a new member they have a limit of one PM per 60 mins. Crazy!
I have taken the model number directly from my completion certificate and commisioning documents.
If you send me a msg to my mob number i gave you - then i can forward a few pics showing the various details etc.
Thanks

We are close to completing on a property and it's on oil with a log burner. There will be extensive renovations (bungalow to two storey property) though it's unclear yet whether it will be cheaper and more cost effective to knock down or not! Needless to stay we are in the very early stages, however know the heating system will need to be sorted.
We've been to a local house building show today and have been looking at different systems. One of the main priorities is a hot house, from two people who are always cold (she says with the thermostat on 26 degrees in flannel PJs and a dressing gown, with two pairs of socks on sitting against the radiator)!
We both love underfloor heating and a very large hot bath every other day.
The property we are buying is next to a canal, though does have a bit of land but not enough for GSHP. We were chatting to lots of people today and whilst there was a lot said on ASHP I can't help but think it's not going to give us exactly what we want - steamy hot baths and toasty temperatures. We also work full time in the week though I do occasionally work from home. Apparantly they do still operate well whether you are next to water or not, though I did wonder temperature wise if living next to water would impact on their effectiveness. We'd like underfloor heating throughout and some kind of logburner still (whether we keep the existing footprint and extend or demolish and replace). I've read a lot about Grants and a hybrid oil and ASHP system, but then my other though is whether the ASHP system is right at all. Would a new oil boiler, tank etc be as efficient and would we still need radiators in addition to underfloor heating. I mean I accept oil prices can rise etc, but then so can electric and I've read so many mixed messages about ASHP having read every page of this forum.
Gas is not an option at all, no connection for a mile and half.
Completely confused!0 -
If you like your house warm, stay on oil0

Swipe, do you speak from personal experience?
I've read lots of posts on here and other websites and it seems like ASHP are great when the temperature isn't too cold. I just wonder if it will get hot enough for us and our baths and whether living next to the canal will impact on the performance of an ASHP.
Most people that seem to have ASHP installed seem to have to use electric immersion heater or have installed solar panels. Balancing the cost of ASHP and solar with just a new more efficient oil system and large tank I wonder whether it would be better suited to our needs....0 -
Living next to a canal would only be relevant if you were contemplating a Ground Source Heat Pump.
It seems to me that you have read enough about ASHPs to know, or at least have serious doubts, that they will not meet your demands.0
