Madasafish

After what seemed like days (and probably was) of searching for the best new broadband connection package we eventually plumped for https://www.madasafish.com Why?

- Free Modem
- Free Connection
- 2Mb speed (impressive compared to the rest of the market)
- 5Gb monhthly useage (again, impressive compared to others)
- Free domain name, ie. www. (YOUR CHOICE) .co.uk
- 2 months free for new connection, £17.99 p/month after. Pro rata'd out this equates to £14.99 a month which is a fantastic deal for a 12 month contract.

Have been suitably impressed by customer service, replies to emails and notification and speed of set-up.

I really think Martin should circulate this in his next newsletter as it is such a good deal. Cant get over the free domain name - how cool is that hey?

Would be really interested to hear other customer feedback.......

  • But he doesnt mention the free domain name??

Or include them in the "UKs Cheapest Broadband Provider" table.

Or mention the fact they are are cheapest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they were to be included in the best buy table other people could see that thay they were also the fastest and provide more monthly useage.

Do you need to update the table then to more accurately reflect the money saving offers open to those after broadband packages?

I think it's also worth mentioning that if you migrate to Madasafish you get four months free. :j This makes the £17.99 a month package average out to £11.99. :j I took advantage of this with their sister company, freenetname.

Migration is really simple, here is a basic explanation:

If you already have broadband (and it isn't a cable provider) your telephone line has been activated for ADSL (broadband). What migration does is it allows you to transfer your activated ADSL line from one supplier to another "seamlessly" - you can do this by requesting a MAC code from your current supplier and providing that to your new supplier.

If you change suppliers without a MAC code, your old supplier needs to cease the ADSL from your telephone line and then your new supplier has to reactivate it. This will leave you with a lapse between services.

The service is not competative, most others have dropped their charges, not least Demon. Many providers give unlimited capacity, the 2gb allowance - only raised now to 5gb is poor. The Max product at £27.99 with only 15 gb - now 20gb is poor value.

Hi - Demon do indeed offer excellent value at 19.99 per month for unlimited downloads and up to 2 meg connection. However, for those who are not heavy internet users Madasafish is also excellent value at the equivalent of 14.99 for newcomers, and 11.99 per month for migrators for a 2meg connection speed. As always, shop around.
