Are you going to answer my question about where you got the figure of £12 a week to heat domestic hot water in an average house? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Thank you, you just proved to me what a fool you really are!!!
I was simply asking a question to try and get more information on the subject and you automatically think I am "trying to be clever".....
If YOU read one of my earlier posts, you will see that I said that I have no axe to grind with you and am not trying to slate you or catch you out, only to help try and stop people on here getting ripped off (not by you specifically but by anyone at all.....)
As for your claim of 9% profit, we have only your word for that, but if the BSEE claim that these systems should cost up to £2500 less than what you are selling them for, but you claim you are only marking up by £600 then somewhere along the line, you are paying out £1900 more than your competitors. Time to look into this I would say..... but then thats not helpful advice is it, it couldn't possibly be, its just me trying to be clever, after all everyone on here has got it in for you and every post is having a go at you isn't it...... :rolleyes:0 -

All I want you to do is to substantiate your figures. Wasn't this why your company was fined £40,000 for giving out misleading information about how much money can be saved by your systems? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Can I ask everyone to take a step back now and calm down. Some of the comments are getting too personal and rude.
Remember what it says at the top of the forums...........
Please be nice to all MoneySavers. There’s no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

Trisontana,in response to your questions. My system cost me £6350,I am afraid I cant give an accurate figure on my yearly savings as it has only been installed since May.However after digging out my oil bills from last year I can tell you that I have used 480 litres less at this date compared to the same period last year.I am afraid I cant tell you what savings equates to hot water and which to heating as it has been pretty mild so far.All I can say is that from May to around September I didn't have to use my boiler for heating water.0

I am still very sceptical on how long it will take you to get your money back. Even if you are saving £250 a year, it will take 25 years. If you had invested that £6,350 in a 5% savings account you would have got £247 a year after tax. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

As there is a "difference of opinion" between some of on here and the company, would it possible for Martin to come on here and gives us his thoughts about these solar water-heating systems, and to tell if if he thinks they are good value for money or not? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I have been informed of this site and thought I post a comment about my experiences with solar and my dealing with Simplee solar.
I’ll start from the beginning; Four and a half years ago I received a letter from said company and returned a prepaid card as my interest was in reducing my fuel bills.
I received a call from a lady to make a appointment followed up by a visit from a salesman, I have to say he was very good as I am not the sort of person who would make a snap decision normally, a surveyor then visited and this was followed up 3 weeks later by the panels being fitted on my roof, 2 weeks after this the final installation took place.
I have to say from start to finish the service I received from Simplee solar was a pleasant surprise.
At the time of buying my system I mentioned to the salesman that it would be possible that myself and family might well be moving house in the near future, I was informed by the salesman that Simplee solar,s company policy was that if a customer moves within 5 years from date of purchase the system would be relocated to the new property free of charge, this had a big say in myself buying the solar system.
Three years ago my family and myself decided to move from our house in stoke-on-Trent to a bigger house in Chester as by now we had a new member to the family, meaning there were now 4 of us, I contacted Simplee solar and explained the situation to them, I was told to contact them again once we had exchanged contracts, which I did and I have to say I really was completely surprised that they arranged a appointment for 3 days later to remove the system ready for our house move, 2 weeks later we completed the purchase of our new house and once again contacted Simplee solar, they arranged to come and install the system 10 days later, and yes they arrived on the said date and duly carried out the installation to my complete satisfaction completely free of charge.
I have only been in this property for just over a year but can honestly say that I am over the moon with the performance of the solar and the savings we are making, at my previous house which was a 3 bedroom semi I did keep some kind of records of my savings and they were in excess of 35%, these savings were on my total fuel bills, when I now read the newspapers and see articles about price increases I have a slight smile on my face knowing that I made the right decision to deal with SIMPLEE SOLAR..0 -
This thread is a joke, i will be reporting rex to the forum manager as he keeps deleting anything that he dosn,t agree with.
MORPH3US calls me a fool and other people call my customers liars, but as soon as they get any kind of response they dont like, then he deletes it.
WHAT A JOKE0
