hi jamtart wondered where you had got to. Did you get your phones sorted with envirophone yet? Thinking about sending mine - it seems a good deal:rolleyes: :D
Hope you have an easier week this week.

I've been checking my phones too - I keep getting a better offer for most models from Mazuma Mobile, through Quidco... anyone else used them?

Not seen that one - will have a look thanks. That's why i was asking after jamtart - would rather use a site that someone I "know" has used and reccomends. I can get about £70+ on envirophone if it is okay:rolleyes:

  • Had a really challenging day at work - and I was sooo tempted to get a takeaway dinner, but I didn't:T
That means it's now over a month since we've had takeaway of any kind! (That's a first in this house!) It wasn't good to phone the Chinese and have them recognise my voice straightaway:o

Other than that, I've had a NSD, apart from milk.
Oh, I just downloaded two songs for dd1 from iTunes, and she handed me some money and said 'that's to pay for the songs!' Brought a tear to my eye, it did:rotfl: (had a stressful time with her earlier, but all sorted now, thankfully)
I hope everyone had a good day!

Hi splishsplash sorry you had a bad day hope you are feeling destressed now.
Extra brownie points for you for resisting the lure of the take aways.:A You must be feeling the benefit of eating better after a month :T :T .
DD only on second week of her budget and is contemplating taking her coppers jar to the coinstar machine at asda " so she doesn't run out of money before next month" .I am finding it so less stressful not being hounded for money all the time:j .

If it's any consolation, dd1 had a total blowout in the first month of the budget, and again around Christmas, which is a not a bad thing, I think, and it's paying off now - she's finally getting it. I didn't even mention money today, but it seems she's adapting to the idea of paying her way! I find it useful to review her budget with her every so often, just to get her to see if she feels she's had good value for the money she's spent, and if she's happy with the way she used her money. It gives her a chance to reflect and plan.
And I totally agree, it's lovely not to be asked for money!
