360 gets my vote - more games, (imo) better games, more people have them (so better for multiplayer).0 -

Why do you say that? I'm just curious...
Loads of people all over the web say very similar things, but I just don't get why people think the PS3 is "the future".
Every comparison test I've read online suggests that the 360 versions of current games look better than their PS3 counterparts.
I've not read anything, even from the hardened Sony fanboys that suggests the PS3 is as easy to develop for as the 360.
I've read a couple of good breakdowns of the technologies in each and not found anything that actually suggests the PS3 has a raw power advantage for use down the line.
So why do people say that the PS3 is the future? Is it just a hunch?0 -
360 wins simply coz its cheaper(including the games) and there are more games for it. both consoles have their faults though.0

On that basis the OP should buy a PS2 then. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
anyone menioting the ring of death issue on 360 should consider that theres plenty of time for a similar issue to arise for the ps3. it hasnt even been out a year yet. the ring of death is supposedly been sorted on new machines anyway.0

I sold my Mega Drive (with 32X module) for only £20 two years ago. That definitely wins so far as best console (based on that criterion)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

lol. yes. ah but then the question would be which has the best quality. i should have said more quality games instead of just more games.0 -

Doom was enjoyable though. But not really worth it just for the one game. I wonder if it psychologically put me off. I still play a lot of games, but on the PC, I haven't had a console since the 32X."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

since i had a megadrive i have had a ps1 and now a 360. i havent got rid of any of my old consoles yet so i like rather than liked my ps1. my own personal negatives against the 360 are how noisy it is and the lack of a cheat cartridge from action replay or xploder. those issues arent as bad as the lack of good games and high price of the ps3. still if i had the money i would own both.0
