Limes - what to do with them?
Comments

Margarita...
or other drinks, I squeeze them and freeze the juice in my large ice cube tray which is about tbsp (15ml) Then it's added to triple sec and tequila to make a margarita which isn't diluted with any extra ice!
Of course it wouldn't dilute any other mixed drink you put it into either.
I can't have any alcohol at the mo and my idea of a mixed drink is a lime and soda!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

On the lime and coconut theme.....
If I make a veggie and/or bean chilli - as well as fresh chillies or chilli sauce I often put loads of lime juice and coconut (either the milk from a tin or a chunk of the solid creamed coconut dissolved into the chilli)0 -

Hello :hello:
I havnt posted on OS before but I am hoping you clever domestic goddesses can help me!
My friend brought me 3 limes the other day to put in a cocktail, but we didnt end up using them. Has anyone got any ideas for using them up as it would be wasteful if they ended up being thrown away?
I am dieting, so it would have to be low calorie! (Thats key lime pie out the window!)
Thanks!
