You are going round and round in circles worrying about stuff which may or may not be relevant.

Please check out your entitlement to support now.

Stop worrying about the job as you are legally entitled to go back part-time and you can get most of the cost of child care covered by the CTC.

Once you actually know what the situation is, rather than what you fear in your darkest moments, the debt charities can help you and we can support you.

Are you getting any practical or emotional support from family or friends right now, or sitting at home stewing?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • all we are entitled to is child tax credit, no working tax credit or anything else as i earnt last tax year

Im sat at home stewing, i have no friends locally and only family is my mum thanks to my arrogant father, whos now off the scene altogether. Mam lives an hour away so im pretty much sat alone all day, think thats why i have sunk into a depression. When i have had baby i have a course of tablets here ready what the doctor gave me, and a tonne of counselling lined up too, i want out of this dark place.

Can you explain? Someone else might be able to advise but

    1. I think you can ask for re-assessment if your income changes?
    2. The tax year ends in April, so the situation may change anyway.

lol thanks have looked and may also be entitled to sure start grant after baby born, can claim up to 3 month after, in oct chloe is 3 so will be entitled to 5 childcare sessions per week and will have to check out entitlement for baby, there are 3 towns nr to me so i could work pt on eve and weekends and baby and chloe may only have to be in childcare an hour or 2 a day just for crossover of partner getting hone and me leaving.
  • i think a lot of my deafeated ness etc and anxiety is down to the illness which has been issued at least which is a start and is being treat so after baby i hopefully will be on road to recovery and get some of my fight back, theres always a way to get round things i guess, and the debts not overly bad specially if car goes (i,ll just convince myself of that!!) x

Phone CCCS, thye are fab and will give you loads of great advice. Where in the country are you? I work at our local hospital 3 nights a week to make ends meet. Could you work a Saturday/Friday night? as you would get about £70 and partner could look after kids for a few hours.Obviously I don't know what your skills are, so you may be able to do something better paid. Stop stewing, nothing is impossible.
Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:
