Worried!

Hi, have been reading forum for a while now and i just want to join in and say hi and tell you a little about myself. I am happily engaged and my fiance who i live with pays the mortgage and counciltax etc out of his wage everymonth and after his debt repayments etc has very little left, i dont know exact he owes, its not huge but neithers his wage once you take off mortgage council tax and his fuel. I am a full time mum, was self employed but quit as wasnt breaking even after poor sales last year. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and am on smp as paid enough nat insurance to qualify so til sept 08 i get 112.75 a week and currently receive £72 a month child benefit. I am struggling to meet my personal repayments and when maternity ends i dont know what im going to do as we cant afford childcare and would break my heart to leave children somewhere fulltime anyway. I could only get a weekend job as partner is out more than 13 hours a day and jobcentre have said i wount qualify for jsa as i would need to be available for work all the time. I know sept is a long way off but i have been suffering severe depression and under a physciatrist and a counciller and feel like a total failure for self employment failing and i dont want to be the one responsible for us getting house repossessed even though none of my debts are secure. Thanks for listening, i just wanted to get off my chest how im feeling at the moment/who i am etc, thanks x

    Good morning,

Well done for posting, that's the first step. What you really need to do is sit down and write a SOA (statement of affairs) instructions in sticky at top of page.

There are some brilliant people on this forum who will direct you to the appropriate websites, and info so hang on!

    Best wishes Ev x

Immediately after the baby is born
Once your Mat cover runs out
AOnce the baby reaches 1 year old, as you get less benefit for it
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
