NTL Broadband Bargain

I've been a NTL customer for a while. I did have the whole kit and kerboodle...tv..phone and internet.
Anyway I got fed up with the tv deal....I felt it was rather expensive in comparison with Sky. I kept the phone and internet...'cos I haven't really had a problem with them. Anyway I noticed this week that new customers were getting 1mg bb for £9.99 a month !!! I was paying £ 17.99 for 300k....!!
A quick phonecall ( free of charge ) to NTL complaining and lo and behold I have my bb increased and my charges dropped to £9.99 for 12 months.....
so ....any NTL customers out there stumping up more than £9.99 per month for 1mg get dialling......Things to do today :
 1 Get Up
 2 Survive
 3 Go back to bed.0

Firstly it says in tiny letters at the bottom of the 1mb page
Secondly the 1mb service now has a cap of 3Gb per month. I'd rather keep the 300k service and not have that cap, and that is exactly why NTL haven't offered their 300k customers an automatic upgrade* £9.99 a month for the first 12 months, you will then be charged the standard subscription charge (currently £17.99 a month). Thanks to all who post constructively. Thanks to all who post constructively.

Have any other existing customers got the 1mb for £9.99?0

well i am an existing cutomer on dial-up. When i saw the offer stating it applies to new customers i rang them. They put me on the new offer. Just ring them and ask them. They are desperate for new customers and want to retain existing customers that they will offer you a good deal. Simply say you are thinking of going to another supplier. HOWEVER if you already have broadband with NTL just say you are going to a different supplier if you cant transfer on the new rate.fayraz wrote:Have any other existing customers got the 1mb for £9.99?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems Well at least i learn something on the way Well at least i learn something on the way 0 0

            Hi all,
one thing is there.......once started anything and everything is excellent. but if you have a slightest of problem / query and need to call a customer service i guess everyone comes in the same bracket......good for nothing!!!!!!! and the best part is everyone has a 0870 customer service number so you land up paying much more for the product and at the end of the day the money u saved cause of the offer will prove much costlier and i am sure everyone looks for the saving and no one realise how much they spend on the after sales!!!!!
