NTL do some great introductory offers - good luck with their "customer service" if anything goes wrong

I think they get away with it because so many people don't actually check their bills thoroughly, on the telephone side at least....

You need more than good luck if something goes wrong,as they are absolutely useless.I wouldnt wish NTL on anyone.

Have found lots of useless customer service etc with lots of companies, but why pay lots for rubbish service when you can pay less!! LOL!

    No, you don't understand...

NTL really are c<@p. Not many companies have websites devoted to their poor service! Take a look at ntlhell.co.uk

In all fairness this does sound like quite a good offer, and NTL's broadband service doesn't seem to be as bad as their telephone invoicing system. My friend purely uses them for broadband, and has been quite satisfied with them (once they actually managed to turn up and install it)

Having experienced their telephone service, where the amount they charged me for the service changed every month, I put them in a very special elite bracket, along with the Tax Credits Office

NTL and the Tax Credits Office are the two most incompetent UK organisations that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter

I wish everyone would boycott NTL!

They are actually worse than the worst company i have ever had to deal with compltely shi*e customer service from and thats obviously 3, Three Customer Services, yes based in abroad! Dont know how NTL have managed to beat even their customer servies which is based in another country and i usually find them hard to understand and useless! So it goes to show its not the countrys their based in ( obviously to cut costs and exploit poor people abroad ,yuck!) its the service they provide and NTL are soooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooo terrible! Thats why i finally had my cancelled internet connection with them last month, even though they offered me another 3 months for half price, i said no and left! Best thing i ever did!

I certainly Agree with all MSE'ers advising against NTL, Take my word for it, i dont even think i have ever thought so badly of a company (apart from Argos when the tft monitor error went on last yr, and their customer services rang my mum ,said its cancelled and put the phone down, i called them several times and they kept cutting me off, however they finally came up with the goods:) so thats all fine) ,NTL are terrible, steer clear!!!
