  • The psp and xboxes were on .com on the first day of the 50% off sale on 20 Dec. They had several different psp packages on too at the time.

Do you think that perhaps this stock is returned stock then if they have suddenly found some more perhaps! I didnt realise they had them in the sale till this morning thanks for the update!

I sense a lot of frustration and dissent form Bootsers of late.
    • With the .com basket system (which IMO is frankly poor)
    • With SA's who refuse coupons (but IMO really are only doing their jobs - we may not know what their supervisors/managers are telling them  )
    • With other Bootsers for their reported 'stash' of goodies
This is the loveliest thread around here, with the nicest peeps :A but it makes for tricky reading some days of late. This probably isn't going to come out right but could we please all return to our pre-christmas/sale ways and post up help and advice for others, rather than the 'I got this' 'I got that' of late?
I love hearing of others successes usually, but the constant posts of others hoards isn't sitting right with me. (I think of the MSE'rs who are trying to make ends meet, counting the pennies, and who want maybe one of two of the bargains to make life easier, those housebound, those unable to get to their computer at this ungodly hour etc.)
Lets post up the bargains and glitches we ALL can take advantage of, and support each other in MONEYSAVING :T

NOTE: NOT aimed at anyone in particular so PLEASE don't take this personally. I just wanted to vent a little I guess.

    ;)

Well said. :T It is hard to choose the right words without casuing offence. I said similar in an earlier post following on from techno_saver.

The thread is massive now and hard to keep up with. Perhaps we would benefit from a "Boots Rants board" to supplement the Grabbit board. That way, we could choose to read the rants or not. Just a suggestion.

Crazyposhgal, does a BRILLIANT job here and deserves a medal for her work. I would hate to see numbers drop because of this. I love this board also, it's the best here. I look forward to it each day.

Sally Hansen 'air brush legs' 50p...total spend 9.75. BUT I got a £5 off skincare voucher with my change, so promptly went back to the clearance and picked up a 40ml of Roc Hydra+ and used my voucher so only paid 50p!!!!! The lady on the till was miffed, she said it wouldn't work, but it did lol

if the facial skincare vouchers offer stops on 29th will i still get one on that day for spending over £5?

    just thought id re-ask :)
also is the 200 points wys £10 on certain toiletries just online?

Hi, yes you would still be able to use it on the 29th, but dont forget, dependant on what you spend you may end up with another and another and another etc. LOL:j :j

The 200pts wys £10 is online online only, but is compensated in other ways in store. Look for the BOGOF on the baby wipes (See 1st post) and also 2 for £3 on J&J to mention a few.

Boots always have very similar offers in store to those online. But instore there is often a cash saving whereas online it is a Points bonus. (Sometime in store it is both due to ACM) HTH

I'm not sure to be honest. I don't think it will be returns probably just stuff they have came across. I would not hold out too much hope of them having more but you never now.

I have never received a cancellation email from them and one of my orders from the 10th Jan is still showing as processing! LOL - when I rang to find out if it was coming I was told it had been cancelled and I should have received an email detailing this.

Is your order still processing? Mine says it is processing still but who knows!
Does anyone know when if you request next day delivery when the items actually get sent out? Is it before a certain time in order to acheive delievery. Sorry if this has already been asked before!

I have only just realised that the tan wipes are normally only £1. I have been driving 7 miles to get free parking to get a £1 eybrow pencil which is the wrong shade only to get the free highlighter, LOL.

I shall be going to Boots shortly to see if my local store has them in, save me some time.

Also does anyone feel like a 'shoplifter' walking about the store getting vouchers from ACM, paying at diff till to get the till slips, up & down escalators looking for bargains etc.
    I certainly do.

I too tried for the tea set for the lady who posted wanting it. I really hope you get it but if not something else will catch her eye, good luck.

LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: This made me laugh, as thats exactly how I feel.

On the start of the 75% sale I was followed around by a security guy with a walkie talkie. I know I must have looked like a bag lady, with 3 huge bags of stuff, and a fistful of coupons. I kept stopping to repack my bags and setting the low level arm off by the door. (I have a steel rod in my leg) Then stopping to sort out vouchers, and setting off alarm. Then going through my bag, for other vouchers that I had brought with me, and yes you've guessed it setting off alarm. This is because there is a shelf thingy near the door, and its handy for getting organised.

He must have thought I was blind too, he was a little way behind me, darting behind the displays cos every time I made eye contact with him, he ducked away.

I dont know if there is a typical shoplifter type, but I dont think it's me. I am 61, white haired, overweight and have a metal knee. But then again you never know. I was dying to say him, oh go away, "I have knickers older than you"  You do see life in Boots!!:T :T

I switch between DH's and my account with Boots.com to make best use of codes and I have never cleaned cookies between logging out as me and logging in as him. The codes work fine everytime I switch between accounts.

Could be the setting for the cookies are different on your Pc from op. I prefer to clean mine maually, but can be set to be automatic. Only really becomes a problem, with vouchers etc, which recognise previous user and refuse voucher.
