Was lucky enough to grab 2 of the prod_thum.jpg - The Sanctuary Spa Secret gift sets. Has anyone else managed to get these and if so, was there a £3 Sanctuary voucher in them (I got 2 sets as Christmas presents and there were vouchers in them)? Many thanks.
  • Hiya Bootsers,

Went into my Local Boots and had noticed some 'empty shelves' (for the 90% 'sale goods' tomorrow - hopefully!!)....I didn't get a chance to go last year, so I would just like to ask - is it just the xmas things (crackers/cards etc) that are put out for sale - or are there any 'decent' products/gift sets - or is all dependant on individual stores i.e what they have excess of???? would be grateful of any help....THANK YOU!!XX

This could of already have been posted but i have not read this thread properly for a while so i'm going to post it.

The Expert Maternity toiletories are half price at the moment, today i bought the stretch mark cream and used the Pregnancy club coupon for half price Expert Maternity or baby toiletories.

The till took off half the orginal price so the cream cost me minus 1p.

Good Boots shop today - boosted points by 1100 for a £10.65 spend

    I bought

    No 1 Shop
Pantene Full and Thick Conditioner - £1.79
    Cucumber face mask - £1.39
Olay Total Effects hand treatment - £4.97
    Health & Beauty Magazine - £0.00
    Total Spend £8.15

    Vouchers used
Pantene products 200pts - PC voucher
Olay Total Effects 500pts - PC voucher
    Cucumber 100pts - ACM voucher

No. 2 shop (cos till spit from No. 1 shop for £5 facial skincare had to be used:rotfl:)

Olay Regenersit thermal polish - £7.50
Till spit (£5) redeemed meant total spend £2.50

    Voucher used
Olay Regenerist 300 pts - ACM voucher

So basically Boots paid me £0.35 to walk out with the shopping:T and even better as I was paying for the Olay Thermal Polish with a £5 skincare voucher the sales assistant asked me if I could make use of any more cos she had some that people hadn't bothered taking with them. So more shopping before 29th

Was at Preston Deepdale today -they had a few clearance No7 bits and pieces near the main tills but the highlighter powder didn't work with clearance. Superviser still put it through for me though :)

THanks Netimka for the advice on the Sanctuary miniatures/masks - I would have given up otherwise on using my £5 vouchers. I got just one of the Sugar Face polish sachets for each of my vouchers (didn't want to push my luck) but the nice lady on the till sent me back to get some more to put through 2 on each voucher. I then got another £5 voucher so this time got 3 for 37p! The sanctuary masks that were going through were "sugar face polish" (peachy-brown sachet) and "moisture boosting mask" (white sachet with blue writing on it).

I can confirm there are no vouchers in these Sanctuary gift sets.

Many thanks CPG - the sets weren't sealed properly so I wasn't sure. Also, since I'd paid a whopping £5.00 each, the £3.00 voucher would have been nice:rotfl:
  • I'm busy collecting points again...Managed the following today:

    2 x Boots Cucumber Facial wipes £1.98
    Boots Cucumber Skin Freshener £1.39
    Boots Cucumber Cleansing Lotion£1.39
    Mars Bar 46p
Offer Points 100 & another 100 added manually as it wouldnt go through on the other in the same transaction + 12 normal points & a skincare voucher.

    Next:

    No7 Highlights £10.25
2x No7 Concealer £7.00 each. On 342 + voucher from mag means just £7.00 for the three.
Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher £7.50 used the £5 skincare voucher so £2.50. Total cost £9.50.
I used the 300 points on Olay Regenerist so total points on that transaction 328 + another skincare voucher.

    next:

    Meal Deal £2.99
Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher £7.50 - £2.50 after skincare voucher
Boots Cucumber Facial Wash £1.39. I got another 300 points on the Olay Regenerist & 100 points on the Cucumber Facial Wash. So 408 in total & another voucher.

I also managed to get 2 packs of Time Delay makeup wipes. The SA was stocking up the shelf just as I was about to give up on finding anything that was free.

A good day in all :T

    Question

I bought the Thermal Polisher with the £5 voucher & 300 points voucher. The chap at the till gave me the points voucher back & told me the till hadn't said he should take the voucher. Do you think it will work if I use it again or will I get a 'Madam, that has already been used!' I heard this being shouted at someone on Saturday in front of a large queue!

I have a voucher from parenting club for 500 Advantage card points wys £15 or more on baby products in the Boots baby department.

Tried to use it on a mini mode towel and cardigan today but it wouldnt go through. SA said she didnt know why it didnt go through and they would add them seperately, she called a more senior SA over who said has to be Boots branded items.

Should it of been accepted? Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.
