Been to West Bromwich today - they don't have much left in the way of christmas stuff on 75% off - a few of the lavender and magnolia bath salts, half a dozen ted baker clock sets and about a dozen of the ted baker speaker sets.
Lots of wrapping paper and tags and loads of Pannetone and gingerbread house kits. Might pop in there tomorrow morning to see if there are any 90% off reductions if I can haul myself out of the house early enough, but to be honest there's so little left that staff will probably nab it before we get chance to.
There was a massive long row of stock with clearance stickers right at the back of the store near the Christmas stuff - not greatly reduced but they might be of use to someone.
They had...
ROC sets, didn't pay much attention as they were between £12 & £15 each (I suppose you may be able to use £5 skincar voucher on these),
men's botanics microdermabrasion kits stickered at £5 (not sure if these would work with the half price coupon from the ACM that I had as it's meant to be £6.25 at half price),
various men's bits and bobs including real shaving co. bits and bobs £1/2 each,
Lots of no7 sun products (the ones we all got last year) for £2-£2.50 a go,
Lots of shampoos and hair styling products between £1.50 and £3,
and so much more - too much to recall off the top of my head
A few reduced No7 lines at the front of the store in the no7 section - they have tan wipes!! about a dozen (not priced up ) but no sign of any highlights powders - plenty of mags about though!
Valentines display with loads of the accessorize hat boxes - back up to full price of £18 (the cheek of it)
Walsall (large store in Park Street) not much to be had here ! There's a small clearance section inside the door by the perfume counter.
I did notice that on the toy shelves there are toys with the green 3 for 2 Christmas stickers on them but none were marked down - should they be?
The smaller one in the Saddlers Centre (by Argos) had a small clearance section just inside the door - mainly hair stuff & huge basket full of reduced toothbrushes. No christmas stock left here either.
Hope someone finds that info useful & sorry it turned out to be a long one!0 -

When I got home and looked at the receipts I noticed I had not got the 10% discount off the face peel so I rang customer services. It was her who told me about all Boots own brand having 10% off for the 60+. Anyway she said she would add on 200 points to compensate for not getting the discount but said the next time I was in Boots to ask the assistant to ring head office and they would tell them how to activate my card
.
Hi, I have had the same problem. It happened the first time after just 2 months in the Health club. and it was sheer chance that I noticed it on the receipt. The next time I shopped, the SA who I mentioned it to, filled out another application form and sent it off. She scanned my card at the till also and put my 10% discount back on for that purchase.
Customer service sent out a tear off token which I had to get scanned at the till (It took about 4 weeks to come through) But the discount was still working from when the SA had sent the form off so I never used it. But it happened again last week. Bought 2 large shops before I noticed it was gone again. The next time I went in I asked them to scan the token and it went back on. But I have kept it in my purse in case it goes off again.
I have no idea why it happens, neither have boots??
They said they had never heard of it, but I have seen it posted here before. You just need to be vigilant and check every receipt before you leave the store, as that 10% can make a huge difference as it is on all BOOts products. They include No7, Botanics, Sanctuary, Time Delay and their expert range (I dont think I have missed any of. If I have can someone else please post)
They wont accept proof of age, only what is on your card, as the till should automatically deduct the 10% discount. Even when you pay by points you get the discount. Made a massive difference to sale items which I used points for and were nearly all boots products. Hope you get it sorted quickly.:T :T~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

the 342 offer kicks in automatically so it would take off the cheapest item (illuminating powder) first @ £10.50
if you then used the free voucher not sure if the till would take it off again when it's already been deducted once IYKWIM
I always assumed that you needed to have something cheaper than the illuminating powder so that item is removed in the 342 then allowing the voucher to work.
Hope this makes sense! Has anyone actually tried buying 2 things more expensive than the illuminating powder and using the voucher?
But who know with Boots???!!!
I agree with you and did read on here that you need one item under £10.25,as it takes the cheapest item off first and then cannot take off the £10.25 off for the highlighter as it has already been taken off.
Has anyone managed to get it with items more than £10.25????
I have done it twice with at least one item under £10.25,no problems!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
hi all, just wondered if anyone can help.
ive been visiting the instore 50% & 75% off sales and have ended up with some stuff left over. weve taken what we want, put away the birthday/xmas gifts etc but still got a fair few bits left. also stuff ive bought ove the last 6 months since ive been bootsing!
its all what i would class as half decent ( no.7, ruby & millie, clarins, clinique etc) im not wanting to put in on ebay, and i dont have access for a car for a boot sale so just wondered if anyone had any ideas as to where might be a good place to sell it. im not looking to profit at all, just basically want what i paid out back.
Thank in advance if anyone has a good idea.
Ebay would be your best bet or take it back to Boots for a refund. I did a car boot yesterday and found that good cosmetics dont go too well. People want everything for 50p or a £1.00. I have one or two bits left and I am going to return them.0 -

I placed 2 orders on friday one at 5.36am and one at 5.43 am, I have had one box today with one item in, the delivery note says that they have been unable to supply my order, so i phoned boots to ask what was coming - he said all of it, so i waffled on about the delivery note - he then said wait and see if it comes tommorrow..................................... I told him whats the point of the online ordering sytem and he said they were useless and don't get updated very quickly - you don't say................ However my bank is holding all the money as pending, so they still haven't taken any yet!!!! So i will await the cancelled order email as i still haven't had that either!coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0
