Mudbath, your lucky you didn't loose the eye! Ya silly beggar!

OK, I S&S kitchen, living room and then went to get DS1 from school and go up to my SIL's to collect DS2's old baby car seat to pass onto a friend who's step daughter is not allowed out hospital without a car seat even though they have no car, never use cars and have free bus passes (they live away out in the sticks so fuel would cost a bomb, and why bother, they have free bus passes seeing as how he is a bus driver....)

    *deep breath*

And the car seat is filthy so I will have to strip it and bung it through the wash.

Kids room can get a quick tidy so they can get to bed as I am just back.

    To do,

    PC desk,
Paperwork (mark down MOT renewal dates, and work out savings for car insurance and holiday)
    Bathroom
Do something with chicken drumsticks in fridge. cook them and freeze them or something.

Tiamai, if they speak to the Ward Sister, they might be able to get round that problem, have known people to in the past when they were getting the bus, midwife walked them to the bus stop with the pram.
One day I might be more organised...........

She has already asked, and been told no! Even though her Mum would be escorting her and what not, they say no. She can go home, but the baby will remain at the hospital until she returns with a car seat. And they don't even hire them out.

It's the new hospital and the old one was where a midwife dropped a baby out a car seat a few years ago. So they are very strict. They won't even allow visitors outside visiting time! Absolutely no way, not even if its a relative who has traveled a very long way and can't come back at any other time. I'm glad I never and will never have to be there to have a baby, sounds lonely. And it's all single rooms, no day rooms. Horrid.

Anyway, she should get home tomorrow if I get this one cleaned up.

Found a recipe for my chicken, so will make it up and have it for dinner tomorrow.

Evening all and hugs to everybody with poorly children as that is definitely one of the times when being a parent is hardest. Mum has gone home now - with her cold so I hope none of the kids catch it. She did offer not to come but I know she looks forward to seeing us all so much and they could pick up a cold in school anyhow.

I have done no flying except for my dalies so going to get DS3's reading done and then clean the bathroom whilst he is in the bath.

Office/family room can wait until tomorrow as it is not too bad. Checking statements and balances for me tonight.

Pigpen thanks for the boden kids tip - I cannot beleive how much people will bid on old kids clothes. Can you tell me if something sells for £10 how much do I 'loose' in fees? I know there is the listing fee and the % for ebay/paypal but roughly what do you get? £9?

Mudbath hope your wound is ok. There is a homeopathic rememdy for puncture wounds - I think it is hypericum but would need to check - do you have a book/some remedies?

We had chicken casserole for tea cause I love it and everybody gobbled it up and said it was delicious. Does mean I am too full for my HHP at the moment.

Can't wait to try my new pillow at bedtime.

Shell hugs for you and the LOs
Mudbath OUCH!!! Omg that could have been really bad and it did make me smile!

Not done a lot today, been for lunch with my parents, then their house for a few hours. DS is teething and to be honest, being a BRAT. Really naughty, thankfully DH came home just as my final button had been pressed (throwing dinner) so he's dealt with him for an hour and then DS snuggled up with me for a lovely cuddle before bed.

DW on and empited, toys thrown back into basket in lounge, tea on and thats it today.

So swimming tomorrow, DS down for early nap, with HHC myself and then I'm at hairdressers so a few hours off - hooray!

Oh, and did someone mention money coming easy??? I've had my tax rebate and received a refund of half my boots order that I complained never arrived but then did - do I be honest and tell them???

Morning flyladies and big hugs to you all.

Now I want you all to do me a favour. You are all (yes that is you and not the others) to do something for yourselves today. I want you to think about you. It could be as simple as having what you like for tea even if the others hate it or treating yourself to a little something. Some of you, mentioning no names, are turning into martyrs and it is not good for you. If you give, give, give you will end up empty and no good to anybody. One of my favourite sayings in life is 'put your own oxygen mask on first'.

What a great idea :) Only just started to catch up before I go out bellringing so that and having Butterscotch Angel Delight for pudding can be my things for today ;) A & W like angel delight as well but I did choose the flavour.

Not read much more of the thread just now, about to get changed and go ringing. See you all later.

Dusty - my friend's coming round tonight with something for me to put on it, she's into homeopothy and stuff so hopefully whatever she brings will help. Personally I think I need wine to top up any lost fluid...sadly all we have in the house is a cheap bottle from a hamper at christmas. Can't decide whether to open it...I could always clean the drains with it I guess.

AnW'sMum - bell ringing sounds good, is it quite physical?

TracyG...it was me, it was me, I said money was coming easily so i'll send you my address and we can go halves, lol. Brilliant on the rebate etc.

I'll say it again....money is coming easily to all us flyladies xx
