Top front for mine too.. as you look at them it is the one on the left. The one next to it came out last week and a bottom one came out boxing day.. I told her she is turning back into a baby lol she didn't have any teeth at all until she was a year old!
The new bottom ones are really wonky, so little space so that will be 3 having braces. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just popped in to say hi to everybody, send love and hugs to those who want or need it and to say thank you to everybody for your continued inspiration.
I cheated a bit today as I started on my list of jobs for today, yesterday. (does that make sense? lol) Any way, despite having an entire day off to have some 'me' time with friends I still managed to do a level 3. Thanks for the list lil_me.0 -
Good morning everyone,
I was so inspired by all of your posts yesterday that I went home and cleaned, de-cluttered a box, made dinner, got Spare room ready for IL's staying tonight and all while watching Everton loose...
Ooooh Ashbart, are you an Everton supporter too?? (or do you just hate Chelsea??)
I work full time as well. I'm not very good on Thursdays though, too tired. Will catch up properly tomorrow.
Night night xx0 -
Oh yeah.. ebay... I have nothing that's worth selling.... I looked, I found a leather coat covered in mould...0

Mudbath - how do you find Toluna? I am registered with them but don't tend to do all my surveys - stick to lightspeed/global market ones. Are they worth doing?
I've got my first mystery shopping assignment this weekend and sadly I am quite excited! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Now I want you all to do me a favour. You are all (yes that is you and not the others) to do something for yourselves today. I want you to think about you. It could be as simple as having what you like for tea even if the others hate it or treating yourself to a little something. Some of you, mentioning no names, are turning into martyrs and it is not good for you. If you give, give, give you will end up empty and no good to anybody. One of my favourite sayings in life is 'put your own oxygen mask on first'.
Sorry pep talk over. Off to bank/boots/lidl (should have raspberries canes in today) and then back to ebay.
I did this all day Dusty, well at least all the time the kids were at school. I met a friend for breakfast and a few more for lunch and spent a whole hour in a hot bubble bath this afternoon reading a novel. I feel fantastic and thoroughly recommend that all the other fly ladies follow this advice! :j0 -
Hi Tiamai_d
I spoke to someone today about Holistic massage and Reiki for my son, and maybe me too. She said although she does them all, she advocates Bowen. DS has had CFS/ME for 7 years (he's 17 in April) and she thought this would help, but said he would definitely need two sessions, as the first sort of re-trains the brain, but she also said she doesn't insist on more than two, leaving it up to the individual. She also said it might help me with my asthma and migraine. I thought it was quite reasonable for an alternative therapy at £25 per session, so just wondered if anyone had seen or experienced the effects. Anything which may help in general, or specifically with the severe headaches and other aches and pains he has, or the sleep problems would be worth a try. He's just come in the room and is most impressed with Toby!:rotfl:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Dusty - I get about £30 hmv vouchers a year with tuluna...not a fortune but pays for a few christmas presents. I signed up for global but wasn't impressed...do you find them worth doing, I wonder if I should have given them a bit longer. I signed up for lightspeed and got tonnes of spam but I guess it could have been a coincidence. Which do you find the best? I keep toying with the idea of mystery shopping but don't know if i'd have time as DH is away Monday to Friday so I don't have child care and I work school hours and Saturdays so would only leave Sundays.
Pink fairy - I have experiece of lots of holistic therapies but have never done bowens. My friend swears by it and says it's helped all sorts. The therapist you've spoken to is reasonable as I know people who have paid £55 a session. Hope it works xx
PS does anyone know why I'm not seeing aviators anymore?0 -
Pink fairy, I would try Bowen.
Out of all the therapies that are available, Bowen is the one I'd try first.
I did keep meaning to go up to Glasgow to see the guy I know, but it's 45mons to an hour and just never got round to it.
There is a thread on another board i visit, http://www.board.hemihelp.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=1329
and they mention Bowen helping with constipation, so it's not just the physical side of things.
Have a look at this one http://www.glasgowbowentherapy.co.uk/
and then this one http://www.bowentherapists.com/
Wish I had a pic of Toby, he is my 'lottery win' horse. In fact my dad was going to buy him before he put his pelvis out! He is an Irish Cob, Brown and white though he looks black and white in the winter and from a distance, and has blue eyes. I think my friend used Bowen on her horse too, he had a bad accident with a barb wire fence, lucky to still be alive ripped his leg to bits and infection set in. Lot of money on a vet, the bownen helped with his leg, heal up scar tissue that had build up behind the scar. He was a lucky lucky horse.
Back onto horses (can you tell I'm horse daft?) Connies (my Dads horse) farrier is learning Bowen, and he is a no nonesence guy, tells you a spades a spade if you know what I mean, and a few colorful words, heck, we all fancy him, even the guys!0
