thanks lil_me and pink fairy for the input, I just rang them (straight through to Direct Debits team on the number they sent me on their email, otherwise I was going to go via 'I want to leave!' option if it had come up!) and the nice lady listened while I told her about the two increases within 5 days, that I considered my winter was almost at an end with warmer weather, and that I had not realised I had to do a meter reading before 90 days were up but had intended to however what with Christmas and all it had slipped my mind, and she said that as I had been happy with the rise to £53 that she was happy to put it back to that and that the next bill was due in April and they'd automatically review it then. I think I will still go ahead and after Feb's payment I will do another meter reading and pay back any difference from my bank account. Phew, panic over!

Right better get on and get dressed!! Hubby is on his way home and I need to look busy! lol :)

    Hi all

Back from the doc's £50 lighter. I now have the Seretide and Ventolin I was on anyway, the Erythromycin and Neo-Clarityn she gave me on Monday, and today she's given me Flixotide to take when I take the Seretide and Salbutamol to use in a Nebuliser, but......she couldn't get me a nebuliser in a hurry. As she said, they have a nurse who will sort out all that for older people, but not for young ones (I told her she was the nicest person I've seen today - I'm 49 and probably older than her!!!:D) Anyway, off to Lloyds for the script and they had Nebulisers reduced to £50 from £89.99 (or something like that) so bought one. If it means I don't need the paramedics again on a weekend, it'll be worth it. The doc said she trusts me not to abuse it and will give me salbutamol to keep in the house for emergencies.

Anyway, all I've done today is make my beds, I think I'll leave the changing till the weekend to see if I feel a bit better, unloaded the DW, loaded the WM but forgot to turn on.

Just sitting with a frothy coffee before lunch, but will try and do at least one HHC - Under stairs cupboard - after lunch while DS doing his lessons, then we've got to take the DFPs to the vets for their second vaccinations.

I've just realised my status has changed from Newbie to Convert - yippie!

Quick update in the hope it will get me off my bum:D

Today will hopefully go something like this:-

WM x 2 (first load on the go) - need to put in TD
    BM
    Packs ups - MADE
    Brisket in SC - DONE
    Bedroom task - DONE
    Hoover through - DONE
S&S kitchen, bathroom, lounge - DONE
Mop porch, kitchen & bathroom floors - Swept need mopping
Sew elastic on littles ballet shoes (still not done it - bad mummy!)
    File statements etc
Parcel to post office (need to decided which dress to keep)
    Half hour ironing
Make shopping list for tomorrow - DONE & TRIP TO SHOP ON WAY HOME FROM NURSERY
Make cookies for littles (I will only have one, I will only have one:o )

Actually I have done more than i thought. Bedroom still has a pile of ties for DH to sort through, I have put a couple that he had before he met me (been married 14 years!) in the charity bag. Bedding not done as did on Friday so will do this Friday again;) .

Just got to feed little one lunch but she is not interested, she seems off food at the mo! wish I could say the same:o . Right must go put washing in TD and get next load on the go. Have done my meter readings and it will not take my electric one as it says it is lower than they would expect for this account:mad: , next bill due around 4th Feb - hoping its not too horrendous.

Time for a coffee me thinks - anyone want one?

Hope tracyg and embb are ok?
  • Please Miss Pigpen, I'm a good girl really - I did my HHE on crosstrainer - it's out in the garage where its freezing so I have to go pretty fast so I don't shiver :D - so pleeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssse don't glare

Was a bit disappointed cause in my first week of d**ting, only lost 1lb but then I made all the big changes ages ago. Am hoping that when I go back to work it will help cause I do a lot of walking around the airport terminals (plus in the dry when its hissing it down again). Am planning on leaving my purse at home for the first few weeks so I can't tempt myself with naughties - I will have to eat what I take with me or starve

    Right today's list:-
    check smoke alarm
    strip bed
    wash bedding
    remake bed
    dust bedroom
    floordrobe
    vac bedrooms
    vac hall stairs and landing

Anyone fancy a HHC at 1pm?
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Well done Mumofjusttwo and bebee on your HHC. Bebee, I hope your headache clears up soon. I also got booted off the net, so spent a lot of time on my first HHC sorting that out, hence why I did another. I'm off to find some lunch now, and then I think I'll do the things that require leaving the house ie food shop and getting plus posting a card to my friend for her birthday tomorrow.

  • I am being so dozy today that i overwrote yesterdays post - got a banging headache so rang and told work i wasn't going in to teach one lesson this afternoon, so i have till four without child, and i am going to make the most of it by having a snooze in bed i think and see if it shifts the headache.

hugs all round. have read the thread, but again it is a bit of a blur. welcome back aimee. good luck to rach for saturday if you manage to pop in again.

I am just having a sweet potato jacket with cheese, and then i am going to bed. Bottle of lucozade for when i wake up to see if it perks me up a bit, cos the tea hasn't this morning. oh well, got a few bits done.

and veg all peeled for dinner and in pans ready to go so i can take it easier this evening.

    Morning everyone,

up at 6:30 as usual, but i am challenging myself to half an hour of doing housey things before the midwife appt at 9:30am. Leaving the window open so i can add things as done. Already had the WM on this morning, and dropped charlie at nursery:

    1) bathroom bin emptied
    2) cats fed
    3) cuppa made
    4) WM emptied
    5) bath emptied of toys, cleaner sprayed round it
    6) bottle of cleaning spray refilled, and kitchen roll took upstairs to clean mirrors in a bit
    6) inside of new wardrobe wiped out
    7) moved PJs and jumpers into new wardrobe from old, sorting out some that can be got rid of as they are shabby, and some that can go away till they fit next winter.
    8) emptied 4 radiator airers and one free-standing one, clothes folded and away
load of jumpers washed this morning now on airers
    9) another load of my jumpers sorted for washing, and now the
    10) WM is on again,

so, just going to drink my ginger and lime herbal tea, then grab my maternity notes and sample pot and go for my appointment, I will grab some bread while i am out, and i will then have a few bits to do when i get back

    1) [strike]put jumpers for throwing in the textile recyling bag[/strike]
    2) check y11 coursework, so i can give a list of those without to my colleague
    3) [strike]clean bath and bathroom sink[/strike]
    4) [strike]hang up this next load of washing[/strike]
    5) do a bit of schoolwork
    6) go to work for about 1ish.

she says, as though that is loads of time, but in reality, hoiw quickly is that going to vanish???

Hope you are all having a productive morning.

    Michelle, x
