skintscotslass, I found out unfortunately by experience in the last house, I used just salt one night, the next morning I went from top step to bottom (7 in total) and ended up covered in bruises
Oh no!!!! I've never heard of that.
I used to buy huge bags of salt, maybe 3 kg, 5 kg really cheaply. But then that shop shut down and when I moved house I discovered the free grit, Very OS.
I felt quite bad this morning. I was gingerly walking up my street and called out good morning to a neighbour who passes me every morning. He turned to see what eejit was talking to him and he fell right on his bum. I was horrified!! Thats what I get for being friendly0 -

I am half way round the living room - honest but had a session with DD tonight that lasted an hour and a half  . We both find each other so frustrating, she likes daddy best as 'he's soft' and 'i get what to do/have what i want' !! So when I try lay the law down it ends up hurting both of us. I know behaviour problems are NOTHING compared to the problems some people have but it still hurts at the time. DS made me a lovely cuppa to cheer me up
and DD has since sent me a text (from upstairs!) to apologise and say she loves me, talk about rollercoaster.
Anyway to prove I have done something updates list so far. (Only doing the main living room as not used middle room this week much)

Kaz - I know how you feel as I had a run in with my DD this evening. On the one hand I was thinking I should just let it go but then I don't want her to end up a brat. You shouldn't be flying at 1030 at night! Sit down and do it next week..it'll wait. Hugs to you xx0
