    evening chums
cold light of day (and it is cold) has made me get things into perspective a bit.
Reading lilo's posts, (((hugs))) and other people on here who have actual proper diffs to deal with does make me realise how lucky I am, and also how lucky to be able to come on here for a moan anyway.
Had a better night with bubs (the medised did the job, I didnt sleep that great cos of the wind blowing stuff about but at least was only up the once with her) , she's been great today.

Hubby away so downstairs is tidy, lunches are made, bags are ready and bathroom has been cleaned up from the post apocalyptic bathtime mess. I am now in bed with laptop as I am shattered (and with coke and crisps LOL), its lovely to be lounging in bed already. I promised myself I would do my Davina DVD once or twice while he was away but sod that!

shell you are right, bf is blooming hard work. I am very proud of mysel fhaving lasted the longest so far with this one :)

michelle you sound knackered, make sure hubby gives you a rest when he gets back. BTW that list is looking quite impressive, you go girl :T

play2day - would love a nap - can you come and tell DD1 and 2 to both fall asleep at the same time in the day please, or well just get DD1 to sleep in the day full stop would be heaven LOL

(oh carp DD2 just woken up - mmmm shall I feed her or just stuff dummy in ??? both I think ... back in a bit ......)

polly_pod -welcome, love the username :) Dont try to do it all the first week cos if you dont you'll beat yourself up, just do level one, or choose one thing a day that you think might make a difference to your home, and do the one thing. Some people add their own Daily lists too or have an ongoing list of things they want to cross off.

Done zero flying, oh well. Did a market research thingy which basically involved having blood pressure takern, answering a few questions and having breakfast made for me - lovely!

Seems quite a lot but I need to get ahead as I won't be home til about 9.30 on Thurs as we have 6th form evening and after a 14 hour day I don't think I'll want to do much at home
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • can't wait till DS is big enough to make me a cup of tea.

DH has made me my dinner - gammon, mash, peas, sweetcorn and onion gravy - all the more tasty because i didn't touch any of it although i suppose i did cook the gammon last night. I just stood next to him and ranted about the !!! i work for. I only hope he finds himself a new job when i am gone and i don't have to work under his management again. I wasn't as stressed as this when he was off for the past 2 weeks on the sick - perhaps i should offer to make him a coffee and put laxative in or something - only joking, not that mean.

I am having a pottering session with odd scraps of paper i keep finding amongst my school stuff - a lot of it is paper that needs marking, i keep getting kids approach me in the corridor and give me bits of paper, and i shoved them all in my diary.

i might then procrastinate some more and make myself yet another ticky list so i have some idea of what jobs i need to get done for work to feel less stressed.

I am going to get up early tomorrow to drop charlie off at nursery and then have some time at home to get some bits done i think - that way i should get at least an hours worth of free time either side of my appointment, and then i will be making sure i arrive at school just in time to see the PITA finish teaching my cover lesson.

    embb congrats on the job

struggling to remember anything else constructive this evening.

    Michelle, x
  • He's looking after me because I'm not well. Never mind the fact he's been ill for 7 years, bless him.
