May be wrong forum but please bare with me.
I have an E class merc which to my delight has a flat. I've put the spare on but it would appear the rear brakes are kicking in and I can't move it. Any of you mechanic type bods got any ideas. Wheel will move about a foot forward/reverse before brake appears to kick in.

Are you using a space saver, because you might find that if you are using the space saver with the bolts off the alloy wheel they will be too long, hnce your problem, you should have a set of bolts just to use with the space saver.
    Hope that helps.

issues with the bolts on mercs ring bells with me!! is the spare a different style wheel?
one or all of the bolts arn't too long are they now the spare is on? i.e. can they stick too far through the hub and catch on something they shouldn't?
sounds far fetched, but a thought.

Anyone any ideas as to how I can shift it as the wifes mini's trapped in. Was hoping I could shove the merc out of the way.
