I actually asked for the off topic chat to be kept off the thread. All the 'I hope I win' 'I wonder if that's so and so' 'another one from wherever' is on topic, had been going on since the beginning of the comp, and I had no problem with it. But what does this have to do with the comp?

I asked nicely if the off topic stuff could be posted in the Compers Inn & got my head bitten off for it. I also think that to drag that up again on a thread trying to help everyone get on a bit better is rather unfair to me. Are you going to keep having a dig about it?

I used to post a lot of comps, and join in the chat, but this place has changed beyond all recognitiop from a few months ago - I just hope it can become a bit friendlier

cheeky you used to post lots of comps long before i was even here:D I think I know who upset ya but dont let em get to ya, get posting again:D this is all meant to be fun remember everyone, think some people are forgetting that bit:mad:

Excuse me but it was scottishfreebiehunter you told off not me..And 4 or 5 of us were posting day and night people names that couldn't hear the radio but i notice that there was never a thanks from you to any of the posters who worked really hard on there...There were lots of thankful mse's thanking everyone...I was getting up at 5.30 to 6 in the morning with 5 children to help out and you spoke to us like we were kids...:rolleyes:

As you can see I am a newbie on here and as soon as I arrived I wanted to get into the spirit of things around here and approach the very subject and even suggested a solution.

Some agreed but I also encountered smart remarks, and ridiculous views that compers didn't want to click to reveal answers as that would increase the amount of mouse clicks, hence increasing the amount of time used on a particular comp! and the thread being thrown into the abis called Competitions Discussion Thread Part 3!

I did feel despondent but didn't rise to it and I let it go. As so should you all...... lets get back to comping and forget our gripes as most fall on deaf ears.

Hi, I'm very grateful to the people posting the winners in this thread, but is there any chance that the off topic chat could be kept to the compers inn?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who keeps seeing this thread has been bumped and so checks for non-existant winners!
