Sounds wierd, I know, but I did a restore on my laptop today which didn't solve the problem (which was getting back online, which I now can - I know, I know.) Anyway. I now cannot "undo" this restore point. There is nothing on the page. I was thinking of doing tis unrestore because its messed stuff up (I think its that, anyway!)I cannot view lots of sites that need flash, so I go to Adobe to download the plugin and I cannot. There is no download button on the page. There is a download button if I view the adobe page from the main PC, so I know its not their site and its me. But I do not know what ot do next. And I know I shouldn't have been fiddling in the first place!!!!Any suggestions please?

There is now a download button, but there it does nothing whenI click it. I cannot view sites like Hotmail as it tells me that java is not enabled, I go to Java website and it tells me I have everything, but will not allow me to download anything as says that my security wont permit it.Argh.........And still my posts here are not with paragraphs or smilies etc.0

i would run the uninstaller just incase you have flash partially installed, just run it anyway.
u will need to click this link for the uninstaller http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=2 hope you can download it though
and the proper link for flash http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
are you using internet explorer and xp, more info needed please0 -
Er... Cannot download from the link! I am using AOL and XP (Or can use Explorer when I feel like it, but mainly AOL).And I went to the link for Flash, and no button appears for me to actually click to download. Thanks for the help!0

just to be sure did you try the uninstaller link first? visit the link with internet explorer, but before you do in internet explorer try-tools-internet options-security tab and put the levels back to default levels.0 -
Using IE now and there is still nothing to actually click on, on the link to uninstall. I did do the setting back to default levels (reset all zones to default)Thanks0
