You ordered from them not us!

You shouldnt have used a voucher that wasnt yours to use- as stated in there T&C's, its actually fraud to let you know and its investigated by Shop Directs fraud team.

i didnt use a voucher you mug, hence the £77 price and not £54, actually know what your slating before chirping in with clever comments, your advice/!!!! sure attitude is not needed which makes your factually incorrect snide comment even more laughable.

the company has over the last year (from what i have researched since making this transaction) had a lot of bad press on other forums, even on this forum as has its partner company Littlewoods.

These 'mistakes' are becoming all too common. If a high street trader took my money for 3 weeks then 'realised' he'd priced it up wrong i'd at least be able to get answer not a generic dismissive email.

My issue lies with the unreasonable attitude and beahviour of the company, but hey at least i know for future reference. ;)

Labman - £77 X how ever many purchases for 3 weeks = too much imo.

It makes me laugh that people get upset when they don't get a bargain! It was OBVIOUS it was a mis price...as I said before some you win some you lose.
Refunds taking 3 wks or whatever...its known to take upto this time from company to company...but still people order hoping they get it which is fair enough but as soon as they get 'The Email' well then before you know it its all talk of court and phoning them up and all that...get a grip! If the refund thing is the problem put your so called bargains on account then it will come through in a statement!

I really can't see the problem. It probably took 3 wks to get the email because of the thousand of people who ordered the flipping bed!! If you go for a bargain thats had a lot of viewings on a forum, chances are you won't get it, even more so when you get the 'greedy ones' ordering a load at a time!

by the way before I get quoted and slated this wasn't pointed out to any one in paticular just having a rant!

    ooohh happy days!!LOL

Problem is there are so many pillocks coming on here thinking they know everything about everything when they know nothing.

When they are told they are wrong they react like children and start calling people names.

Be best if the MODS blocked these people who ruin the forum

Ok i crossed the posts and made an error when posting - a mistake, just shows everyone makes mistakes, atleast i understand an appreciate it happens- shame some people cant understand others mistakes
  • I was also one of the many who didn't get the bed for £54 - I never really expected to but thought it was worth a try. However, what made me think that this could be a geniune offer was that not only was the price of £74 shown on their website but also in their sale catalogue. Its was shown as being reduced from £249 to £74 (which is a 70% reduction and the sale was meant to be up to 70% off). Also somebody on hotukdeals actually received a bed after ordering it for £54 - he did say it was rubbish though and made them take it back so maybe its a good thing we didn't get them !

I actually think that the offer was geniune but when they got inundated with orders they realised that it would cost them too much money...but I guess we will never know.
