I'd like opinions please..........
This week my dad, who has an allotment, gave me loads of plums and green beans and onions. Today I've made plum jam and green bean chutney. Can I give them to him for christmas? Would that just be too cheeky.....:o"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
No, I'd think it was a very good use of them
. Unless thats what he makes with them...
I've started chistmas now after reading this thread. Got lots of lists of present ideas and things to do etc. This is my first Christmas on my "own" (just moved out of my parents house into a flat with OH). Fortunately, my mum has offered to do the Christmas lunch this year, so don't need to worry about all the food - don't think I could fit a turkey into my own anyway!
Stil got loads of things to do though - been and got a few xmas presents already (in the sales and vastly reduced of course).
My main project now is knitting us a throw for winter, so that is coming before all the rest of Christmas. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Two more Xmas pressies arrived in the post this morning. Book for Dad and a DVD for DS. The problem is hiding them from the kids (13 and 16) DS is getting craftier with his question phrasing to try and find my hiding place and I know that DD has had a good look around the loft. When do they stop looking so I can stop hiding? Mind you I suppose Christmas wouldn't be christmas without trying to stay one step ahead of the kids in the christmas prezzie hunt:):j0
