  • Just finished reading one of those books about the author's trials and tribulations of moving to and living in another country which led me on to thinking how a book could be linked in with another gift.
This one was about Italy, so could be given with homemade flavoured olive oils.
Maybe one based in France could be given with a french lavender plant.
I'm sure there must be plenty of others, but my brain is too tired to think just now.

This is a really good idea.:T
My bil loves pasta so I could do him an Italian basket of goodies. I thought my mum might like a Welsh one (she's half welsh) but could only think of Bara brith and some minature daffs - any more ideas anyone?

Thanks Moggins and Lillibet but they are not what I am looking for!
Maybe it wasn't a seperate thread after all as I have used advanced search and can't find it!!
Someone who had been reading a christmas thread was suggesting a Christmas recipe thread or had started one and I replied to it saying it would be a good idea but still can't find it!

Thanks for trying to help and I will keep searching.

Ps Lillibet wow how Spud has grown! Over 1 now I guess where has that time gone!
