Got my best mates, another friends, mums, niece and my SILs prezzies. working my way through the list really quite fast!My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

I was thinking of buying a lottery ticket for each member of the families, and putting these inside a nice (possibly hand made) card and putting them inside their hampers that I'm making? Maybe someone will get lucky!Wealth is not measured by currency0

Just wanted to say how much I hace enjoyed reading this thread on the hottest day this year (and possibly ever!!!). It is too hot to do all the housework that needs doing, so I am sitting preparing for my daughters panda party that so many people on here helped me with. After this party is out the way I will be concentrating on Chrimbo and I do have lots of pressies already and most of my kids pressies for their summer birthdays were bought in the Jan sales plus some bits from ebay.
Good luck everyone and special thanx to Pavlov's dog!0 -

i have started getting bits for christmas......
in swansea there is place called play rite...resource centre .. its a charitable organization, which promotes craft and hands on activities.... but anyway there get alot of stuff donated as is scrap packaging ... material..and some shops donate stuff that are either returned for slight damage or end of sale lines that are left..... in january i had some lovely christmas / wrapping paper for 30p a roll.... you got to be a member to buy stuff which is just under £10.00 a year, but its well worth it......i know there are schemes like it all over the country, but they have diff names..... might be worth having a look in your area.......
in the passed i have had loads of material....foam for cushions..... curtain rails.... paints... toys..... etc....:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0
