The 250 gigsbyte drive is branded Western Digital and not Tevion.

I bought one yesterday and it appears to be faulty. I shall take it back today and try for a replacement or if they have all gone I will get a refund. - I do have my reciept.

Does anybody have any idea how good these pillows are? I went to my local Aldi today and got one. I am fed up waking with aches and pains and read somewhere that although alot of people think its their mattress that causes backache/neckache, it`s usually their pillow.. Regards Elaine

Bought myself one a few weeks ago and can't get used to it at all, I find it far too firm and uncomfortable.

I bought one of these "memory foam" pillows yesterday. I've used the "proper" Tempur ones and the one from Aldi is a case of "you get what you pay for".

The Aldi one is a lot smaller than the Tempur one, both lengthways and in thickness. It doesn't seem to be the same filling to me, as the Tempur one has a reasonable amount of give even though it feels a lot firmer than ordinary pillows, whereas the Aldi one doesn't seem to mould to your shape as much and is a lot more of a solid feel.
Having said that, it may well be an effective anti-ache measure. I slept on it OK, but it is not one of the more expensive pillows at a cheap price.

I got the faulty Internal Disc Drive changed yesterday at my local store and installed it last night. I must say that it works really superb and is very quick.

I reckon that the faulty drive must have been damaged by someone probably dropping it. The packaging of each individual drive is not very good so as usual the last link in the distribution chain is most likely when it happened.

Aldi as usual made no bones out of changing it, and thought that I may not want to try another one so they offered me a full refund straight away. It always pays to keep the receipt.

And the MEDION wireless router looks a decent buy, I've had MEDION products before and they tend to be excellent value for money.

    Forget it!

56k works on on the router but I've heard many people slag off the ADSL many times. There's been 2 firmware upgrades already and still Medion haven't mastered the art of opening ports and port forwarding properly.

I have on of these devices - Yes it looks good. Yes it glows blue. Yes the 56k works. Yes the wifi works. Yes the 4 port switch works.

No the firewall isn't good. No the port forwarding doesn't work. No medion don't really worry about it. No medion don't answer their phones quick or really go the extra mile to help.

Good device if you are only in need of basic internet access (AND you can get the ADSL to work) but otherwise it's really not worth the agro. You'd be better getting an apple Airport extreme basestation (which incidentally also has 56k built in plus wifi, switch etc BUT cannot be administered from a PC).

Just spent ages wondering why ppl were saying that a 250g hd for £80 was good value, then realised this thread has been dragged from the depths of mid-2005!! Respect for using the search Turboz, but why? ;)
