OH is slowly coming round to my way of thinking:D We were in the garden centre and he spotted some napkin rings for 10p. he said these would be good in your hampers! Then he spotted 4 glass coasters reduced to 50p and a glass table protector for £1. so I have decided to work on a cooking theme for my mum and MIL. i will look for silicone baking/muffin trays, cookery books etc.

I've found a few charity bargains this week too - mostly not for hampers as I'm in the process of kitting out eldest's new bedroom and got some bargains for that too, but all the same I've saved a fair bit of money.

Anyway, for the hampers, I found a Boots Aromatherapy set this morning - brand new, with 8 different bottles/tubes in 4 scents, all in a shocking pink vanity bag. Going by the prices they are charging for smaller sets right now, I reckon this was at least £15 when new, and I paid £5.

I've got 5 presents out of it too - the bag will be the container for a girlie hamper I'm putting together for a birthday later this year, and the smellies I'll pair up into their individual scents, add chocolate and wrap with some cello and a bow, and they'll be great end of term pressies for TAs etc (2 kids = 9 teachers and helpers, so I'm always hunting down the bargains).
