Brilliant............you got some bargains !
Had a look in what is now known as my 'hamper room'...........carrier bags everywhere with 'stuff' in. I've done two baskets..........almost done a third. Next in line is box for my son (have to post his)........think I've got all his stuff by the look of the pile and found a drumming badge that was my Dads I know he'd love. Keep glancing round the house and seeing other stuff I could pass on as pressies..............cheaper still !!
Finished one of the retro sweet boxes yesterday. Need to hit Woolworths again tomorrow for some more sweets then thats my teenage grandchildren sorted for Easter. I put some mini easter eggs in with the sweets.
Cost - boxes £1 each, sweets £2.50 for each boxMary

These are this weeks 'bargains' for my hampers:
Charity shop once again (what else...........lol)
Big white bath towel (brand new) with pretty border...................50p
Box of Candles like chocolates............................................£1. 50p
Small teddy (think everyone will get one this year......lol)..............30p
Key ring (Boxed) glass cube with design on it.........................£1. 00
White silk covered round box with ribbons on it it.........................80p
'New Beginnings' book.............................................................30p
Total..............................................................................£4. 40p
Not bad I thought. The white bath towel is going in a hamper with a white hand towel and face cloth I'd already got £1.50.......they had green silk tassels on............very nice...........I'd like to have kept them but in our household white just wouldn't be a wise colour to have...................lolMary

OH had just finished using the oils in three of our bottles in the kitchen. They're lovely shaped bottles, sort of curvy, if you know the sort I mean.
So, what can I do with them ? OH suggested de canting cheapo bubble bath in them but I particularlt wanted to do them into wine bottles..........any ideas please ? I want them to cost me as little as possible.......after all the bottles are free...................very money saving.................:jMary

Anyone come across any cheap football items on their travels?
I need party bag fillers for 10 7 year olds - I try to avoid the cheap plastic route, and didn't have the cash in hand when all the annuals were going cheap after Christmas *darn*, so I'm now on the inspiration hunt. I'm looking for one 'good' thing (unless of course the price is right), with a hoped-for maximum spend of about £2 each.
Edit - No worry on this now - son has decided he'd rather have a trip to the Space Centre with a couple fo friends - which I have no problem with - only 2 other kids, Tesco vouchers instead of cash, and no party bags to mess about withDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Oh, and if you're on easter yet, don't forget the free Cadburys Mini Eggs at Woolies this week - voucher on the vouchers board if you haven't spotted itDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

Lots & lots !!!
I bought loads of stuff on BOGOF for xmas baskets - so have lots left.
Some unwanted xmas pressies - so they can be recycled.
Every time Boots have a really good offer or any free miniatures - I put them to one side.
Including all my sale bargains - I think I now have enough for:
Hubbys b'day
Mothers Day - mum & nana presents
mums b'day
SIL's b'day
step-daughter b'day
fathers day
dads b'day
sis b'day
and a few bits for xmas
Plus have a few bits left over for unexpected presents!0
