  • my brother bought some trainers on ebay, advertised as genuine nike trainers, they were obviously cheap copies when he got them.
he left negative feedback saying they were fakes. the seller emailed him saying he had hundreds of satisfied customers and what did he expect for the price?

my brother replied saying it didn't matter what price they were, they were advertised as genuine and definately weren't (the seller did not dispute this) and the seller should just be glad he hadn't reported him to trading standards - yet!(the seller was operating as a shop)

He got a full refund from the seller and chucked the trainers in the bin.

when this happened to me the seller wouldnt refund so went through paypal and trading standards kept the trainers to destroy them. wasnt bothered as i got my refund from paypal.

I'd start a Paypal dispute for SNAD, and then Paypal wouldn't expect you to send it back.

A claim for item not as described would require item to be returned.

if iwas him and had got a full refund , i would still have kept the trainers........as they had cost nothing in the end....
Poor quality trainers, even if they are free, are absolutely worthless if you value your feet.

Even walking in bad shoes can be harmful to your feet. Doing exercises or playing sport in poor quality trainers is not a good idea.

You could end up spending a lot more on chiropody then you save on the trainers.

you should have seen them - I wouldn't even give them to the dog to chew - they were pure tat.

  • I have recently bought quite a bit of "fake" Tiffany on Ebay - of course it was not advertised as such or even the word Tiffany used but I knew all the same -unlike the OP I paid a very small price and was under no illusions that what I would receive would be fake. The products were so lovely , not in any way tat. Reading the post above I am wondering if maybe they came from one of those chinese outlets (bought them from HK) ..maybe they were not fakes at all ???? The packaging was beautiful - I had many friends/family very pleased at Christmas !!
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

i bought pair of LAURA ASHLEY lamps from ebay...they arrived and upon unpacking them..the seller obviously missed the BHS stickers on each one!!

i reported them to ebay..within a week they were shut down..mmm wonder why.
And no, i didnt even give seller a chance to explain..he knew what he was doing.
