unusal problem i think with 3

got the new se850ki 2nd jan,week later get this problem (intermitant,tends to be in morning & early evening)when i fone or receive call i can hear them but they cant hear me,so thought it was handset so they exchanged for new one,same thing happens again,so tried sim card in my old se k800I same problem!! so thought must be sim card,so they sent new sim,still does it !surely its got to be the network,anyone else had this problem?

    ..or..have you left bluetooth switched on but no headset connected?? I've noticed this has happened on some phones in such circumstances - phones seem to get confused, so do half and half :D

    nope didnt leavee it on,but went into local 3 store in andover because 3 tenical said it must be the handset & the store sales assistant said that lot of people exsperaince same problem.anyway just spoke to 3 tec in india for 5th time,they said network ok so i have to take 2nd new handset back for another one :(

    In that case, keep on at them until it's sorted !! Your consmer rights and all that :D

    Have to say the only time I've had to use the repair service, it went ok, and I had spare phones to put my SIM in while the broken one was getting fixed.

    Yeah! it's the network - I've been on 3 for many, many years ...

    It happens to us sometimes as we're all on 3 but, not enough to warrant moving away however :)

    well went back into store yesterday,the assistant foned there tec people & they finally admitted to have a local problem with there network & should be rosolving it by end of week,the assitant said if im not happy at end of week he will be happy to cancel my contract,but iv been with them for 18mnts & not had a problem till now.but if i did cancel i cant find a better or simular deal £27 pm mix n match 900!

    £30 just now for flext 35 on T-mob with FREE weekend calls ( 5000 x-net a month )
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    Do you not mean inclusive weekend calls. After all they would be costing you £360 a year.:D

    well,they said it will be sorted by the weekend & still having problems..
    was looking at that t mobile flext35 looks simular deal to 3 9oo mix n match..
    what u guys rekon?also t mobile any good?
  • Only difference is Voicemail is not free now and you are charged 12p per minute to retrieve so 2 minutes of voicemail per day = £6 extra per month.

    divert your missed calls to another payg mobile sim that is always switched off then remote access your voicemail on that number, yes it uses your minutes but better than 12p a minute ;)
