Barcelona - Help with flights & accommodation

hi

on the map it is at at the bottom of the ramblas then turn left looking at the sea (i think i mean marina rather than harbour)

also looking at one at the top of the ramblas on the left (looking at sea) is the top better than the bottom????

I used to live in Barcelona and HATED the June 21 festival. We stayed indoors, because it was not safe to go out because of the fireworks!
If you or any other MSE person wants a good recommendation for what is St Johns Eve, I would suggest staying the night in (O)porto, in Portugal, where the atmosphere in the streets is fantastic and you are not having to dodge idiots trying to light extremely dangerous fireworks next to you in the street.
