[TOPCASHBACK-RIP OFF]Hi,TOPCASHBACK offer Motor Insurance Comparison Services. The problem is they mark up all the quotes by at least 10%.
The same insurers were much cheaper with other comparison sites (A lot more than the 1 level cashback)

Do you mean this page:

If so, does Rule 4 not already cover this issue, particularly the second example that actually relates to car insurance?0 -
At Christmas lots of presents are given with gift receipts and if the jumper etc does not fit you can take it back but beware if the item has been reduced in the sales you may only get the lower price for the item and as you don't know the original price think the the gift was a lot lower than the person who paid for it spent!!!!
This happen to me yesterday in John Lewis when an item was returned with only the gift receipt and we were offered half the original price as it was not reduced. In this case we knew the original price and we were told that that was all we would get unless we got the original receipt.
Having accepted this we felt it was not correct and returned to the tills where we pointed out that the date of the gift receipt was when the original item was at full price and we had the full credit .
This made me think as we had some other items to return where we only had the gift receipts so before we returned these to the shops where they came from we checked the original price so we could check that the shop was given the full price back not the reduced sale price.I think that the shops must be making a lot of extra profit from unsuspecting returners and the givers are paying for the gift which is not befitting fully.
I will not be giving gift receipts in future but will include the shop receipt so the person that get the the gift know the value if it needs to be changed.
Happy New Year

Hi,
I came through to here from the MSE article
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/directory-enquiries-free
which came up on a web search.
I found useful stuff on here but I did notice that it is using call charge example from the old charge system which has now been replaced by the split charging system for service and 118 numbers on UK Calling -

Just looking at the cheap SIPP guide.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/324238
Note that AJ Bell are introducing a new SIPP pricing structure as of 1st Oct 2016. I calculate the (personal) impact to be 2 to 2.5 times existing cost so may be a significant increase for some.0 -
Worth a re-visit after the BoE rate cut, surely.
