At the moment im with T-mobile on there Flex 35 & im paying 17.50 and i was up for an upgrade in Oct 2007 but was unable to ungrade as i was on there lowest tariff. Will I be able to cancel my contract as i have seen out my 18months contract and they wont let me upgrade my phone at any cost.0 -
Hi My Boyfriend took this deal via Argos and has had a nightmare trying to get his money back. T mobile are charging him the full £35 a month and won't acknowledge the agreement with Think mobile.
I have tried to contact them on the number I have for them which is 0141 840 4004 and it is dead, do you have an alternative number that we could reach this company on?

My Husband works for asda and also took out this deal he took 3 deals out for me and our son too , we was on the £8.50 a month deal but we too have not got our money back, so we are now stuck with paying £25.00 a month each to t mobile which is costing us as a family £75.00 a month we have phone t mobile and they will not let us out of the 18 months contact, and said to contact think mobile but all the phones numbers are dead we wrote to them and the letter was returned tu us . say that the address was no longer there, we also phoned asda and they also say its nothing to do with them, which i think is bad seeing how they let this company in to there stores and offer this deal to asda staff , we only took it out and felt safe to do so because it was through asda , we have all be ripped off  as every one got out of this if so please let me know0

Im also in the same boat. Think mobile have not payed me any cash back, and I cant get a hold of them on any of the numbers Ive tried, the numbers are now not registered. I am now stuck on an expensive tariff with 3 mobile. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks. P.S. This sounds like a classic mistake, though to be fair you were mislead by your employer in assuming the company was ok because they made it part of a special offer to you as employees. No-one should ever enter into a cashback deal with any dealer unless they have thoroughly researched who they are dealing with and how it all works. In the past year about a dozen of the "established" smaller cashback dealers have gone to the wall, leaving thousands of customers severely out of pocket. You have no claim at all against the network; the cashback contract was with the dealer. Some networks might let you downgrade or offer a discount on remaining contracts. Unless the dealer still exists and you can sue - AND extract payment if/when you win - you will have to write this money off. If I were you, I would get together and lobby Asda, since they were instrumental in "choosing" this dealer and offered you something which might be seen as some sort of perk. However, unless they help out or you can track this dealer down (the latter sounds most unlikely) I'm afraid you've lost out.
There are many threads on various companies where this has happened - and they were more well-known to people who are used to using cashback deals (eg The Mobile Outlet, Coolnewmobile and Phonebox Direct, Mobilephonesontheweb among numerous others). If you look up some of those you will see the efforts people made in those instances - and it rarely got them anywhere at all. Lobbying MPs, writing to Watchdog, approaching Trading Standards or the networks was generally fruitless I'm afraid. You will be wasting time and effort treading the same path.
In summary, expect to lose all the money, but try jointly approaching Asda, then seeing if the company still exists (AND would pay if it does - many people sued other dealers only to find they went bust and never payed up). Personally, I think Asda is the best one - not much hope, but they may at least be better placed to find out what happened to the dealer and might do something to compensate under these particular circumstances (though I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they issued their own disclaimers in the original fineprint submitted to employees, which would be well worth looking at).0 -
I'm so sorry to hear about all the people who have lost their cash back. I have to say that you're not alone as I'm a former employee who is owed a lot of money from this character. The owner/MD is/was a chap caled Andrew Bignall but is no longer based at the Gatehouse, Abbey Mill Business Park as I've just called them only to be told that he vacated the premise one day in September !!!!! If anyone has any forwarding information on this gentleman, please reply.0
