  • Just read this thread and just wanted to send you a hug.

I was in the same situation four years ago, although I didnt have a flat to go back to, i went to my parents house, they were on holiday and had me as a welcome home present!!!!
I would put pressure on the EX to buy you out or tell him if he doesnt have the money, you will make him sell it pronto.
You can get a free half hour with a solicitor who will tell you what your rights are, (my ex brought me out as i got a estate agent to put a for sale board up whilst he was out and low and behold he called and made an offer the next day!). Stay put in the house until you know what you need to do.

All this will make you a stronger person, and when you have sorted the house bit out etc, i have to say it sounds like you are well rid of the EX (would like to call him something else!) as you deserve someone much better than that.

    Good Luck
Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime

Finally dealing with my whopping debt!
