Great Cosmetics Cost Cutting Hunt

here is the reply.....
Thank you for contacting Direct Cosmetics.
We had a big new shipment of these in from Elizabeth Arden with mixed
style boxes (they swapped to a newer style packaging half way through!).
The code OUC is for our inventory team and means the product is in an
older style box uncellophaned, NCE means new style box with cellophane -
it also helps to get the correct picture on the site.
The reason, they are slightly dearer is because they are cellophaned
they cost us slightly more. We got a good deal on the uncellophaned ones
- allowing us to pass the saving onto our customers. But, don't worry;
they are all brand new, direct from the manufacturer.
If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards,
Olivia.

This is a grat thread with lots of idea's so i thought i'd join in and share my bargain sites. I use www.beautyrocket.co.uk cos i get L'oreal mascara at half price with free P&P (yay) and they also have those maybelline dream mousse pots for just £3.50 (i think you get bronzer pots and eye shadow mousse pots) either way, much much cheaper than boots. They were doing the gorgeous bourjois eye dust pots for only £2.99 (Tesco sell them at £5, boots £6.99) and for anyone who hasn't tried this eye dust you don't know what your missing, its gorgeous. Anyway, i emailed them and they said they expect some back in stock soon so worth keeping an eye out for.
Perfume lasts longer on the body if you moisturise first then spray the perfume on the moisturised area. Also keep perfume in a dark cool place (like a shoe box) lasts much longer!0 -

This thread has been enormously useful during the Xmas gift buying period. Now into the January sales I thought I'd share these apparent bargains with a few shoppers:
The Beauty Room currently have a whole bunch of bargains with 50% savings to be had across a range of their cosmetics and beauty products. Worth stocking up. Happy New Year!0 -

5. Every woman needs YSL radiant touch - I have tried most of the competitors and they don't compare. It is expensive but an absolute must.
http://www.slapiton.tv £16.95 - Shade 1. I haven't actually used this site yet myself.
Don't forget Feel Unique (used to be called Island Cosmetics) for the YSL £16.40 inc p&p plus go via Quidco for money off. http://www.feelunique.com/p/YSL-Touche-Eclat.html
Colour No. 1 is only available in the Europe but this company do all 3 colours. I have pale skin but found No. 1 too pink for my skin, got the No. 2 and it's fab x0
