Went into Boots yesterday to pick up a few bargains (spend over £10) and when I paid, was given a double voucher - one half for £20 off at Boots Opticians and the other was £2 of cosmetics (Maybelline and Bourjois - any amount of spend).

Bourjois currently have their 'Maxi Frange Mascara' at half price - £4.47 instead of £8.95.....

Use the £2 voucher and you have lovely lashes for £2.47!!!!!!! BARGAIN!

    Good luck!

I've just received my smell-a-like perfumes from makeupmadness.co.uk - I ordered Vogue which is a copy of Chanel no 5, Saint, which is a copy of Angel and Futurity for my OH - it's a copy of Eternity for men. They're all really good! Once you've sprayed them on, just give them a few minutes for the alcohol smell to disappear and the smell is exactly the same as the the originals. My guess is they use the EDP of the original brands (because it's a stronger and longer lasting smell) and mix them with alcohol to water them down and then bottle and sell them. They're three of my favourites and I'm really pleased - I got the lot for just over £10, including p&p :)

I also got my Lilylolo samples, they're lovely, I think I'm going to buy their brand when my current stuff runs out.

Lots of lovely stuff to play with today :D

My best beauty money saving for hair:

I used to work in Tony&Guy and learned the "glossing" technique: buy a permanent hair colour in cream (like L'oreal Excellence) mix the tube of colour with the conditioner (throw away the developer) and apply in washed/ towel dried hair - cover with a plastic shower cap for 20 min and rinse.

Presto: glossy shinny hair that looks like a million dollars!! Specially good id you feel your hair porous, dry and brittle - it changes the hair texture to smooth and soft.

It doesn't add any colour to your hair - just a shimmer that washes away in the next time your wash your hair.

Jane thank you so much, this is an awesome tip. I did mine this morning and my hair is silky smooth and shining.

    Xmas Saver!
Try Wilkinsons stores, they knock pounds off the prices of items, theyve gone a bit more upmarket than use to be, get a lot of household brands and posh face creams.

    Recomend to all x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • For Dr Hauschka and Lavera http://www.organic-beautystore.com are the cheapest I have found (apart from ebay sometimes). E.g, cleansing cream £6.70 (RRP £12), Clarifying toner £11.20 (RRP £18) etc. They are based in Germany - shipping to UK is £8.45 for first 1kg, but worth it if you're stocking up or clubbing together with friends, and staff are very helpful.

Trilogy Everything Balm is much cheaper if you order it online from New Zealand (where it's made). It is a lovely balm that can be used on your body, lips, hair, hands, and even on babies as it is completely preservative free.

I bought 2 from http://www.healthpost.co.nz for £15.70 each. Delivery is included and if you spend more than £20, you get a free full sized Trilogy hand cream. It smells lovely and is absorbed quickly.

In the UK, the balm is sold for £18.95 by HQHair and they charge £3.50 for delivery, so the savings are significant, plus you don't get a free handcream at HQHair. It took just under 2 weeks for my order to arrive, and I didn't get charged any import duty or vat. I would suggest you keep the order value low, as as you are not paying for delivery, it's worth splitting your order up if you are ordering loads.

Lots of good reviews on the Everything Balm here:
