Comodo firewall question

Anybody know how to get Comodo working properly with Filezilla? Every time I FTP into a remote site it gets as far as the LIST command and stops. But if I turn off the firewall all is fine. Can I help?0

Any bright sparks in who can answer post 21?0

nah leave it on as it wont hurt and some 3rd party firewalls like comodo turn off the inbuilt windows firewall anyway, but if you want you can as it wont do any harm at all.0

They say you shouldn't have 2 different firewalls running at the same time as this can and often is counter productive.I would personally turn it off if the firewall hasn't already done so (maybe check in Windows security centre and or windows firewall in control panel) as firewall installation often turns it off without you being aware.
Hope this helps

I think that mostly relates to the installation of two 3rd party firewalls I have comodo and the XP firewall running for yonks and never a problem.

defender isn't a firewall btw. There is little point having 2 firewalls running, it just used resources up, so if comodo doesn't disable the windows one, do it manuallyEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Ok, it seems there may be some conflict between AVG and Comodo.
As mentioned before, I'm running Vista Basic and installed Comodo yesterday.
I was on the net quite happily this morning until AVG updated. IE found it impossible to access the net thereafter and I had to uninstall Comodo for it to do so.
Any comments? I'm back on the basic Windows Firewall.0 -

No point as the windows one doesnt interfere with comodo and vice versa, may aswell leave it in place.0
